Talking about how old we are makes me go back to the 1990s all overshadowing 1950s fanboys. Cheesy SatAMs, movies and dance music. Do you like the 1990s fanbase or was everything not better back then?
Well, I was born in the 90's, so I have to say that I did enjoy it. Quite the nice era, to say the least. The transition of music and such.
Growing up in the 90s was....interesting to say the least. When you think about it, literally almost all new stuff which came out in the 90s we use to date. Like the modern computer, mobile phone, games consoles such as the PS2 (?). It was announced in 1999, so I guess that kinda counts. And it has got to be the decade of cartoons. It's when Disney was at it's best, and channels like Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon were starting to get back onto their feet. I think TV literally had something for everypony in the 90s. I can't remember much from back then, but I have little images of what it was like. e.g. All I wanted for Christmas was usually Hasbro toys or something. If there's one thing I didn't like, it was the progression of gangsta style rap. Some rap's fine, that rap just isn't. When it came to the 90s, music was a no go area for me. I didn't start the first year of school until 2000 though, so the 90s were all well and good. Just doing random stuff. I think it was a time where I made it my life goal to obtain every toy from McDonalds. Action Man was baws. How come Barbie and stuff got proper cars to put their models in, but Action Man didn't?! It would have been so awesome playing with Action Man AND cars! Having said that, the 90s were some awesome years, and finally in the past year, I've gotten back to be as happy as I was back then. I'm wiser, I'm older, but I've gone back to the kid at heart. Relevant.
I remember since I was two, and when I was two, it was '98. So yeah, I remember the '90's- Kinda. I remember our old PS1, that thing was awesome! i remember cartoons back then, they were awesome. I remember Banana's in pyjamas too... Those were good years.
I was born in '96, so I couldn't fully appreciate everything they had. But some awesome stuff did come out in the 90s, especially games-wise.
I was born in 92'. So I enjoyed the 90's very much. People were more outside as well as I and having fun then today's generation. I miss my Big Wheel.
Born in 1990 exactly, so I caught the tail end of the 90's. First video game console I ever had was a Sega Genesis. Sonic the Hedgehog was baws. I also experienced a world where cell phones, flat screens, personal computers and the internet were things only rich people had, more or less. I just made myself feel old. -.-
Yoo eediot! Everyone knows Sonic was the stuff!
Pssh, Sonic. Only good thing that came out of that was PRRRRRROMOTION! and PINGAS! Srsly. It's only good for memes. Ren and Stimpy was a classic.
Yup, used to watch this. These were like, the coolest thing you could own. You weren't cool unless you could do at least one trick with one of these. Other things I remember: Thundercats, Animorphs, R.L. Stine, Space Jam, Swat Kats, Pogs (we collected the slammers), and all we had was the original 150 pokemon. Ha...I should prolly just stop now.
Captain Planet? really? That stuff was horrible. Even for nature-loving, anti-pollution propaganda cartoon standards, no cartoon shoved that message in your face like Captain Planet did... And did it work? Not at all. :derpe:
Oh god the nostalgia! Wrong series. And Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (where those memes come from) is such a joke.

(mind the double-posting, please use the edit button) They stopped putting these in potato chips in Belgium because an old lady choked on one of them... Seriously, she couldn't tell the difference between a potato chip and a piece of plastic?
