Well, I decided to make a thread for this instead of going to the general chat thread each time. Nice, huh? My very own art practice thread where I can screw up all I want. ^^ But really, I gots some new drawings that are pretty good. By "good", I mean that I'm actually proud of some of them. I've been practicing drawing faceshots of each of the mane 6, and last night I practiced drawing Fluttershy. From here it's just practice until I can draw her without copying it off of an episode or another picture. If anypony is interested, these are all facial expressions from "Green Isn't Your Color". Pinkie's mane drove me crazy once. That's why no one has ever seen that picture and they never will either. It kinda got lost in a power outage.
Thanks guys! I'm really happy that I've been able to discover my artistic side. Now that I can draw things that actually resemble ponies, I am actually enjoying myself! @ Frost: Thanks! I will have to write down that list and try to draw all of them for each pony. Sounds like fun! ^^ (Also, those are some cute Twilights. :3) @ Zeph: I was thinking of how you liked Fluttershy as I scanned the pics onto my CPU. Glad you like them! @ Echo: I know what you mean. There are a few pics I won't be showing anypony either. Okay, so...I had a little bit of free time (understatement) and drew a little more than just Rarity... Of course, I'm sure you're all outraged at this. So with Rarity I got kiiiinda fed up with drawing her mane, so I didn't really do 5, only 2. Spoiler: Rarity Spoiler: Another Rarity I don't like a few things about the first one, mainly that the head seems too small, and the horn looks just weird. But aside from a few minor things, I'm pretty happy with these. The only thing I need now, I think, is practice. Currently my family wants me off the computer even though I've been on exactly long enough to post exactly this, but I'll post the rest in the morning (maybe, if my psycho parents let me). yes, practice,practice. I wonder why I say this crap it's not like I follow it. Found did you find Rarity's mane to be. Was it a pain?
@Echo: Yep, that mane. It was fairly difficult, but what really annoyed me was the time consuming part. Normally I draw these in 15-25 mins each, but the Raritys took 30 mins or more each. @ Quill and Rex: Thanks guys! Careful though, all this praise might go to my head and I'll become a human version of Trixie. Well, here are some more pics, as promised last night! I think I kept drawing it too big, and on the first one you can clearly see the mane got cut off by the edge of the paper--poor planning on my part. These are my least favorite out of the drawings in this post. I'll have to practice Pinkie more. Next is my favorite; I don't know how I did this on my first and only try, but I did. Spoiler: Zecora She's so awesome! Next! Spoiler: Luna I like this one too; it's so much better than all my OTHER drawings of Luna, which look like Celestia for some reason. Lol, what does it look like? Or does it not have a definite look? If it's the second one, I think I'll draw the heads of all your OC's on one body. Heh heh heh... But I didn't really know the other Zephyr...what was his name? Zephyr Haste?
