I've got 4 fun fun months of holiday, in which I may get a job. But I think that in the meantime, I'll be playing a lot of Monster Hunter.
    I like Monster Hunter. :3

Darkshine, why not use Paint.Net, that's pretty good.

    Meh, I'm a lazy pony.
That, and I know next to nothing about software.
Although, I am looking into getting something to do vectoring...

Paint. Net can't vector. But it's a great free replacement to MS Paint. www.getpaint.net. there is a bit of a learning curve for it, but it's worth it I think.

The only ones I know you can make vectors are paid software. Like Photoshop

Well I've just had dinner so I'm back.

I felt obliged to respond to this. I was originally going to learn C first, but a tutorial recommended that I should just go for C++ straight away.

Anyway, back on topic, the only graphics editor I've used for non-school stuff is MS Paint. Although I've never drawn anything serious with it. I've used Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop and Illustrator at school though. But I will always be a fan of MS Paint. You can create some pretty good stuff with it, although it takes more time.

Yea i read that too. But I don't have any books on C++, only a PDF copy of a textbook for C. So it'll have to do I guess.

I'm just currently learning the basics in a tutorial. Once that's done, I may get a book from the library. My friend reccomended me one for learning C++ so I might give that a read if I can find it.

I have to do poetry for my homework.
It has to be about nature.
Do you think doing it about Ponies would count? ::S:

Do you get to write a poem? Why don't you try to do it on Fluttershy's first encounter with nature (when she gets saved by all those butterflies)?
