Yeah, here's the one I'm currently using: http://www.cprogramming.com/ It has a C and C++ tutorial, so you can learn either. It also gives lots of other useful information. I've only got through about half the tutorial so far, but I'd recommend it. It's explained quite clearly for most of the tutorial, although the more complex stuff may need to be read a few times to fully grasp it.
No problem! Glad I could help He will definitely be missed around here. But unfortunately things change. I'm sure that his break from the site will do him good. And there's always plenty of other members to try and fill the gap he left. It probably won't be the same but we're all willing to be your friend.
I realised just how unfinished the walk cycle I posted was, so I went back and touched it up a little: Hopefully that's better, should look more natural anyway. I think I'm done with walk cycles for the moment, might move on to running and jumping, maybe have him climb on top of a box or something. But before all that, there's something I've wanted to try animating for a long, long time...
Well, I am currently working on Eight Star... Very hard cutie mark! Here is the WIP: View attachment 4550 Quite happy with results, but final results will go into the Dark Arts thread.
Thanks. Working out how to go about a nice background, as it seems Eight Star uses backgrounds alot. Like I said, the final result will end up in my art thread. Probably at the same time as Firebreeze.
That's looking pretty awesome. Especially since you're uing Paint. I'm sure the finished version will be amazing.
Wanna know a secret? Eight Star thinks he's terrible at backgrounds. I actually don't think they're too bad.
I actually quite admire his skill, in making the ponies and the backgrounds. He can do them better than me thats for sure! xD
