    I wonder why Tony Stark shows up at the end of The Incredible Hulk talking to the general about the Avengers Initiative. Agent Coulson or Nick Fury usually take care of that, and at that point, I'm pretty sure Stark was only part of the Avengers Initiative in an advisory capacity.

    I think it was either because they weren't thinking about it all that much, or they hadn't planned that far ahead to the point where they knew who would be cast as Nick Fury or Coulson. That's a good question, though.
