Same for me actually, I was thinking it was still the 21st today :derpe: I'm terrible at remembering the date. General Chat Thread 2 is my favourite.
If you wanna make it now, go right ahead. I'll just follow you in and start posting there instead of here.
Alright. I think I will. Unless someone has some objection to me being Testy's successor as creator of the GCT?
Farewell, my old friend... we shall all miss your randomne-- What's that? A SECOND General Chat Thread? WELL ALRIGHTY THEN!
Farewell GCT... now it remains... should I start posting in the second one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClXAaGoT5eE But if you'd like to, it can be found here! http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?5740-General-Chat-Thread-2
There has been prophets since then though, Martin Luther, the founder of the protestant faith, The prophet Muhammed of Islam, and Joseph Smith of Mormonism just name name a few. I am not saying they were all right, in fact, I believe non of them were, but they were prophets by my definition. Which is a person who preaches new spiritual ideas and gains a following that belieives them. I wish there was more prophets today actually, even though most of them will be incorrect, religion does need some new ideas every once in a while. Humans should not be afraid to challenge the prophets of the past with new interpretations and ideas, because like everything else, religion does need ideas that reflect the society of today, or risk to become stagnant and die. Myself I intend to try do just that, with emphasis on trying. Because I think I have had a divine revelation, a lesson of friendship and love coming from an unexpected place. It is possible God might have spoken to me through ponies, because I now understand what christianity should be, based on what I have seen in this show. I don't think this thread is going to be locked, but to be on the safe side, don't expect to change anyones opinion, everpony has a right to their own beliefs. You have done very well so far, this is the only forum I have been on that kept a civil discussion about religion for this long, both Celestia and Jesus would be proud.
