I once had a dream that Nightmare Moon was resurrected and fused with Trixie. The six Elements of Harmony alone won't be alone to stop Nightmare Moon this time. Twilight reads a book saying that there is a secret 7th element. When they find the location of the 7th Element, Nightmare Moon is there to stop them from using the spark. Like in the pilot, Twilight would get the spark off, but at first it wouldn't work. The Elements of Harmony try using the same rainbow blast that defeated her last time, but this time, no effect. Spike who secretly follow the Mane six to their location, witnesses that the Elements aren't powerful enough to stop him. The Element pieces would then start to move and surround Spike. Turns out he's the 7th Element of Harmony. Not only would he get a necklace of a green flame, he would get something called the Friendship Sword. He would use it to break a forcefield that's protects Nightmare Moon. With their powers combined, the seven elements use an enhanced rainbow blast to destroy Nightmare Moon once and for all. After this, they see that Trixie was actually Nightmare Moon. Trixie then explains that she felt great humiliation after she was in Ponyville and used the hatred in her heart to revive Nightmare Moon. Twilight would then tell Trixie that she wasn't trying to show her up, and she and the other six elements offered her their friendship. Trixie, in tears, would accept, and become a resident of Ponyville. Some dream, huh? Anyway, my main question is that if Spike WAS the 7th Element, what would his Element be?
the element of sacrifice, hes given up his free time, bodily safety, and the gift gem rarity gave him to help find her
I was kidding. lol Sacrifice actually makes sense too. You're right on the mark on everything Spike does to help everyone and not asking for a reward. I think he loves to help people. If Charity wasn't so close to Generosity, I would have though about using that.
or maybe twilight ued hypnosi magic when spike was born, meaning if he doesnt obey he suffers etrememe pain, wich due to her magic going out of control, she might not even know about it (seriousy i am just creepypasta maker today,no idea why)
That's another good one. Do you guys like the idea of Spike having a friendship sword? I'm mainly trying to be a bit creative and let Spike have some sort of weapon.
Hmm, that's a toughie... I'd say loyalty, but that's already been taken in some form... There's one I thought of, but I can't exactly find a word for it, >.< Spike is very... persistent in what he wants, it seems. I don't know if that would work as an Element, but the Element of Persistence sounds fitting for him.
Well, let's just take a look at Spike's personality... He's loyal to his friends, and willing to help them out, but he can be a bit hesitant if he's unsure of a situation. He is also sensitive to rejection, it seems, but is persistent in what he wants. And then, you can't forget his humour and sarcasm... Hmm... I was going to suggest the Element of Adaption, since he was a lot calmer when he and Twilight Sparkle arrived in ponyville than Twilight Sparkle was, and adapted to their new situations easier. Ah well, maybe this just means that Spike can't be described in just one word!
Off topic, I had a Scott Pilgrim moment thinking about Spike having a friendship sword to defend his love, Rarity. On topic, this is a tough question. He has a lot of possibilities for different "elements." A few possibilities I've thought of include might be either fortitude or faith. He has to have a lot of fortitude to go through everything he's been through and still remain so happy-go-lucky. As for faith, he places a lot of faith in his friends. He also has a lot of faith in Princess Celestia. Just a few of my ideas.
^This. This is why thinking of an Element for Spike is difficult. He's so many things, and not many ponies and bronies see that.
well, I would say that's tough question. since loyalty is already taken.... maybe element of humor? also he's very hard working. maybe element of comedy?
Hmm, maybe the element of uniqueness, then? I'm not quite sure if that would work, but it's the closest thing I've thought of...
I don't recall Spike to do much complaining, and if you had to do all the crap Twilight asked you to do I'm pretty sure you would complain every once in a while too, as would I . In fact, out of the Mane 7, Spike has probably complained the least. And to be more ironic, he has the most to complain about. Fortitude and Faith are two ideas I'm really starting to like. Like you said, Spike has faith in everyone he loves. As for fortitude, Spike may be stronger than we realize. You ever wonder if he wonders where his real parents are? Ever feels lonely being the only dragon in Ponyville? Not meeting a dragon that didn't try to burn him to a crisp? Those alone give Spike evidence of Fortitude. Him able to contain these emotions.
