    Well, I don't really agree with that. Superheros have all sorts of unfortunate enemies and obstacles to fight; they need those superpowers to stay alive. The Mary-Sue superheros are the ones who have too many superpowers or are just too smart/strong/etc. Superman might be considered a Mary-Sue, but other superheros such as Hawk-Man, Black Canary, and Green Arrow are not.
