"Most likely, tell the assault squads to prepare for drop. I hope you like freefalling," says Rashall to Dark with a smile.
Instead of answering Rashall continues down a hallway that is centerline with the cloudship. The door that he comes to a halt to enters into a three wide area the middle section consisting of a walkway/prep area while off to the sides sit egg shaped drop pods. "We're hard dropping into the area," says Rashall with a smile.
Chaplain Torpas claped a hand on Dark's back starring at him through the eye pieces of his ornate death mask. "Don't worry little brother we'll see you down safely," said the chaplain with an obvious smile on his actual face. He was pointing to a group ponies and wolves that were gathering around a nearby drop pod.
Rashall walked along side him looking the pod up and down. The entries were long enough to fit a full grown stallion or mare and were tall enough to fit the wolves comterably. "Right here we are, you'll be right across from me with torpas in between us," says Rashall entering the pod. He pulled the restraint bars down and locked himself into place while Torpas helped Dark into place and then saw to himself.
Torpas offered no answer instead the answer came when the hatches of the drop pod shut and a screen blinked on in fron of the occoupants. The scree showed that they were at about 50,000 feet above sea level, there was also a timer in the upper left corner that started counting down from 25 seconds.
Dark Shine kept staring at the timer, getting tenser. How fast would it go? Would they be guarantee'd safe? What would happen when they do touch ground?
The timer hits zero and a dull whump sounds all around, next thing the altimeter is decreasing rapidly as the pod free falls to it's destination on the ground.
Dark Shine was grabbing onto the nearest metal thing he could find, Holding tight for his fears. "What sort of design is this?!"
"Don't worry the restraints will keep you intact now stop worrying so much," yells Rashall over the noise of the falling drop pod.
