Yeah that one is probably going bait too far since the CMC are essentially the pony equivalent to grade schoolers. But theres plenty of other kiddies to pair em with. Diamond Tiara & Silver Spoon for example, I mean one evil little brat deserves another, lol. Or I personally find Twist X Snails cute, dunno why, lol. Oh and Dinky X PIP is pretty dang adorable.

I know that ApplebloomxZecora is a somewhat popular ship. I'm not sure how far the shipping goes though. Kissing is the furthest I've seen. Then again, I don't exactly go looking for stuff like this.

 

Hmm, when I first became a Brony in '10, I loved shipping for some odd reason. I was also very open minded about it. Now I despise most shippings unless they are canon, which I only know 2 of. Other than that, I still like straight shipping, but I'm getting a tad bit annoyed that every single shipping (in fanon) is mare on mare. Sure, the show mostly consists of mares, but it just gets boring ( a bit cliche?) We also need more gay shipping, even though quite a few people despise it ;(

Okay, first off, no. That is not true. See, when the mane 6 are shipped together, people like me like the interactions that could pop up between them, such as Twilight/Pinkie. Lots of intreasting things can pop up with certain charectors being together. I even have a friend who's working on a Twilight/AppleJack fic who is actually trying to build the romance up and develop it over the course of the story. I personally like to ship Twilight and RD together because of how well their personality's are and to see what kind of interactions would come up. Opposites attract is a something I like to do with shipping {And this is why I hate the Sonic/RD pairing. Their is no foil to their personality's and they have too much in common}.

And as for background pony's like Lyra and Bonbon, I really don't see what's so bad about them being in a relationship anyway. They are background pony's, we don't know what their lives, hobbies, love life's or personality's are like. It's all left open to interpretation

Actually, they only fake that at the end to scare the CMC as punishment joke.

 

So, I have a friend of mine who's working on a TwiJack fanfic. It only has one chapter so far, but it's looking pretty good, and for anyone who assumes it's like 90% of most shipfics: He's said that he's trying to actually build up the romance rather then just skip to it right away, so it's not just another fic where they just start off as a couple. At least give it a try. Here it is.
