Oh, boy. Today was the most horrifically awful day. I feel like utter crap.

But enough about me. How are you guys?

Ah, speaking of which. I should probably the pages previous in the GCT.

Edit: MLP Comics? That sounds cool. I wonder how you can get ahold of them.

Also, sorry Darkshine, about your pet. :(

And wow, those Marvel/Ponies things were...pretty awesome, even though I know not-very-much about the Avengers.

Well this thread seems rather inactive right now...

Yeah, I understand why you're bored....Well, at least if it has something to do with this site's inactivity, then I do.

What is a normal person even? Can an individual, made up of unique experiences, teachings, actions, thoughts, and feelings be summed up by such an inadequate word as "normal?" I should say not.

I'm proud of my obvious abnormality, despite the fact many may never understand. But there are those that do, and I hold them very close.
Nonetheless, a friend hurt me being his normal inconsiderate self.

Him: Are you in PHIL102 this semester?
    Me: Indeed.
Him: OMG YUS!I Get to be with you this semester.
    Me: Mhm...
Him: You can be my gloomy depressive sidekick, because, you know, no really cares about how you feel.

similar patterns in behavior and thinking
I can always expect to see it in everyone I meet
so yes I would define that as normal

So your observations alone are enough to define a person?

im not sure what youare asking exactly,

you can tell a lot about a person from the way they talk to things they do though

I'm sure similarities exist, but there are just as many differences. Saying one person is like another is just saying there are less noticeable differences.

    Or, am I over-thinking this?

I am asking if observation alone is really enough to label a person as this or that. Sure you can tell a lot about a person, but a lot is relative. A lot that is relevant to your needs, perhaps. But a lot that is their true essence or self? Unlikely.

You're not over-thinking it. That's pretty much what I'm getting at. If a person acts similarly to another in one way, they'll act differently in many more. Labels such as "normal" can limit our perception of an individual.

If you're going to make a claim like that, it would behoove you to explain yourself, lest you seem silly.

And where is the line that separates the two? Normality would be realistically a large continuum.
Its also subjective on what side of the line that person is.

Such a statement is rather tautological in nature, and, forgive me, somewhat simplistic. What is "normal?" Can you define it in any significant way?

What is expected of someone.Being normal is expected of most people...so they do it.

Who expects this normality? If it's more than one person, would that not mean that normal is different for each person? If that's the case, then there is no true normality.
