My response to that is. They should have never started, they had a choice. Much like me, I have a choice to do all that stuff. I simply choose to not to do partake in it. They still enjoy the feeling that it gives them. still a waste of money.

But everyone else thought you were still talking about Steam. How were we supposed to know in your mind the subject had changed? By the way, smokers don't generally enjoy smoking. Being a dependency, they just can't stop. A vast majority want to stop altogether, so I wouldn't call that enjoyment.
