so i was up all night last night, watching the season finale of all my favorite shows, except mlp. Cause I'm not talking about the ending of the season, but the show itself. the final episode of the final season to end the show once and for all. it honestly made me tear up. I watched the last episodes of Chuck, Eureka, Heroes, Stargate: Universe, Stargate: Atlantis, and others. Everyone knows stargate and its great run, its sad to hear that after a good (and rough estimate) 15 years, its over. Chuck had about 4 seasons before its end, it was a great show that i wished went on a bit longer. Heroes was cut off early, only having 2 seasons due to budget issues, at least they had the ability to end it well. Finally, Eureka. Last night was the season finale and final season for Eureka, 5 seasons of undoubtedly my most favorite show ever, nothing beats it in my opinion. The only shows i watch now are Warehouse 13, sanctuary, and MLP. This brings up a question: has anyone's favorite show, or at least a show you liked, ended? has it ever caused you to tear up? to follow that, it makes me cry to think about MLP. how many season will they have before it finally ends? i love the show too much to just see it end. and will we end up like the fans of stargate? stuck in a lonely part of the internet.(Atlantis) What once a great fan base,(Ghou'ld) now just some people idling over it.(Jaffa) hehe... i could give you stories about stargate... its whole history... oh yeah, im a fan of stargate. :Trollestia:
well, I teared up at Finale of Sonic X (although, story was to blame, not that it was finale of show, that wasn't known at the time that it'll end with it)), also, I almost teared up when Chowder was ending, but they made last episode so awesome that it made me smile (very happy ending), but I was still sad show ended. However, I still watch old episodes, and they are still fun. how many seasons? I'd say 8.
Don't remind me . Hopefully I will be in a state to handle it when FIM ends, and hopefully there will be other MLP shows after this which are as good.
wouldn't this go in the media section more specifically Movies/TV shows There aren't very many I can list lol because usually TV shows I get into are cancelled so there usually aren't Series Finales but House is one
I watched a show called Mail Call on the History channel for as long as it was on air. Man that was a great show, I don't watch TV anymore because there's really not much on these days, save for Ponies.
My god I use this quote so much, but it works so well in so many sappy threads. "Don't frown because it's over, smile because it happened" -Dr. Seuss.
I don't really watch anything anymore, since the last few shows have been cancelled (bar MLP:FIM) and now nothing else is on...
**** and Dom in Da Bungalow. That was THE most mind-numbingly silly, but entertaining show when it was airing and I used to watch it every Saturday morning to kick off the weekend... Alas, the BBC ended it: (haha, Richard's nickname is censored)
It took me a while to get over Dragonball Z(GT) ending. I liked Sonic X a lot too, although the Japanese version was infinitly better than the english one.(Cosmo+Tails scene)
I've seen reruns finales of older shows (can't think of any off the top of my head) but I can't think of anything I've seen and followed that ended. Law and Order: SVU has been running since 1999, so that'll probably wrap up soon. I dread the day that happens.
Xiaolin Showdown was SO epic. I loved it. I quit watching cartoon network before it ended, but around a month ago I randomly decided to look up the finale. It blew my mind. EDIT: @Radaboy the ninja - didn't Unstabler leave the show cause he wanted more money?
I cried when Ouran High School Host Club ended. Still, Zephyr has the right of it. Smile because it happened.
Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Who's the GENIUS that decided to ENd that show? I'll assault them violently! EDIT: How could I forget about Samurai Jack!? That show didn't even have a finale...
