A general hello to the forum here known as EveryPony. I've gone by many names in many places, but here it seems I take on the persona Sojourner. Pleased to meet you all! I heard of you all here when I went to the store recently looking to buy an HDMI cable (Which, admittedly seemed like a good idea until I found my TV could not seem to communicate properly with my laptop). As I was speaking with the cashier, he noticed the shirt I was wearing. Bright red, with Vinyl Scratch proudly displayed on the front. Seems our conversation quickly switched from Electronics and cords to Ponies. He told me about this place, and I decided I might as well give it a look. I haven't really lurked all too much- decided I would jump head first into the pool and hope not to drown. About myself? If you insist.... I'm a guy, living an average life. United states citizen. Sitting in a dorm in the middle of a military base. Yup, currently working my way through an Airforce Technical School. certainly interesting material, but sometimes it seems it's going too slow for me! I've been a brony since the very, very end of season one, right before season two came on the air. To be honest, it was a fairly simple process. My mother turned on the television for my younger sister and just happened across the Hub while Friendship is magic was on and left it there. I had the usual preconception you might expect... (My Little Pony? Really mom?) but as I watched it with my sister (Since I was busy watching her that day anyway) I starting thinking, 'Hey. This isn't half bad.' So, I turned to the internet to learn more about it. then I found the Bronies. Completely blew my mind to see that I wasn't the only one that seemed to have found a spark of interest in something I would have never expected before. As for non-pony related interests, I enjoy books. Lots of books. Science fiction, Fantasy adventure (The legend of Drizzt is one of the best series I've ever read!), Nonfiction books on almost any technical application you could imagine- I'll read them. I'm also in love with Philosophy. I'm still working out the few kinks I have in my knowledge of the area (I've got to get that book of Aristotle back from my friend one of these days), but I'm steadily climbing on up. I plan to move in multiple directions right now, including becoming a psychologist, voice actor, and inventor. I'm ambitious. Hey! a little bit of faith in yourself never hurt, right? I play lots of different Video games, from League of Legends to Call of Duty, Amnesia, Mortal Combat, Empire Earth... to name a small subset. Looking forward to meeting a few of you! let's see how this turns out! (crosses fingers and hopes for the best).
