    Hm, the South African parliament doesn't look too shabby. Pretty much centre. The same can't be said for many countries in Europe, with quite a few populist/nationalist/fascist/far-rightist parties (Neeeetherlaaaaands).

    I'll agree with you there BUT

    There has been so much corruption and ill spending of money in the news lately. The government seems to waste money on Parties 'meetings' that are pretty much pointless.
    And some of the municipalities are doing a terribly crappy job on managing Cities (Take East London For example)

    However it isn't all bad, we have a lot of people who are actually working hard to make a difference, so yeah, I hope that those people rub off on the less useful members
