Yes, it is MOI, THEPOETICPONY, BACK FROM THE DEAD Well ok, not from the dead, but close, I'm back from Orlando, America :derpe: (seriously, WARRRRRRRRRM!) If you didn't notice my disappearance in the last two weeks, thanks a bunch ¬_¬ Naaaaaaaah, but seriously, I'm back to my normal EP Community Patrol duties as usual, and will be finishing up those vectors I started before I left. In this thread I'll be posting updates of my pics, swag, videos, and even pony swag I collected on my travels! Disneyworld, Universal, Sea World, so much stuff to show you guys @_@ (inb4 together) Birthday was fun, there'll be pics of that too, and some of the prezzies I got. So yeah, I'm back. Will update later once I've got everything together, ta ta. Have a nice day. Kiss kiss xx
Thanks, I found that the people are actually very curteous compared to most people in Britain, very sociable and friendly and that isn't just the parks and resort staff I'm talking about. I mean they're probably paid to do that The area was very clean and neat, and despite what I hear on the news, most of the food seemed very varied and actually healthy in comparison to what I usually have in Britain. It's VERY warm in Orlando, like I've been a vampire for the past two weeks diving in and out of cover anywhere I can to get a blast of cold air. If there's one thing, everything is big over there. Food portions are decent sized, queues are big, bloody great big lake (Lake Jesup?) which seemed more like an ocean....it was nice in the states all in all. @Darkshine Thank you, and eeeeeeeyup
That's what surprised me. From what I heard, there's a McDonalds on every street corner, a pistol in every pocket, etc etc, but in all honesty, it wasn't like that. The whole experience has given me a new sense of looking at America, and it's probably the nicest country I've ever been
NZ says hi! (I'm kidding, don't come here) Welcome back regardless, I base my thoughts on America from my brother (sure its a bias) who went to San Antonio and on 'Trek America' for a few months. *hughug*
Somepony say hugs? @Rarit E Yes sir, Foxy sir.... *puts on "Slave" hat and walks off with ankle chains*.....waitaminute
WHAT I don't know whether to be proud or disappointed. Are you sure that was America? In any case, a) Yes it is very warm over here, and I'm not even in the south. b) If you think that's like a vampire, then you should see me. xD c) If you think that's a big lake, you should see Lake Michigan. Now that's like an ocean.
Poetic you're back! *hugs* Heh, I can't wait to see what you thought about your trip. Did you ride ALL the rides?
*hugs* Well Disney's Magic Kingdom was too packed to do that, but I think I did everything major at Universal and the other Disney parks except for like, The Hulk and Rock-it ._.
Welcome back Poetic!! As for the pistol in every pocket you may want to try Alaska for that one seeing as it's nessecary in a lot of places up there.
...Oh yeah, and by the way, you're gonna be lagging to hell. I'm still having trouble sleeping from the jet lag from Alaska. I'm sure your lag is much worse than mine, though.
I live in Florida and been to Orlando quite a few times. But yeah, for the most part, people down in Florida are nice unless you get into some bad areas where the gangs and stuff are, but I usually don't have any trouble with it. and if you were talking about the big lake in the middle of Florida, that lake is called "Lake Okeechobee". Glad you enjoyed your visit over to America though , we're not all fat slobs xD (like Darkshine said, can't wait to see pics)
Due to a lot of my roleplaying online being centred around America, I often sleep Florida hours anyway in my normal life, it's just the ear-popping you gotta worry about @Merri WHERE. WAS THE. PROTECTION.
That means you probably rode the greatest rides anyway. Harry Potter, Spiderman, the Mummy....*daydreams*... Now I wanna go! >.<
