I wouldn't think of Sakura as Pinkie to be perfectly honest, she lacks the violence, and she also doesn't have any rivalries. I dunno she is like it to a point with duality aspect to her personality, but it doesn't seem as prominent as with Sakura, maybe I am picking straws here.....
To a point, I agree. I sorta see her as being halfway in-between the two, but if that's the case, who should be Pinkie? Yeah, that's a fair point. Sakura as Twilight is also a possibility. Old Westerns taught me that drifters hang around in bars, though. :derpe:

If Twilight was real, I would have a crush on her. Which would be weird since she's a pony, so let's put it this way: If I were in Equestria as a pony, I would have a crush on her. But since I'm not, I can only wish. Lol.
I think many of us understand your pain my friend. I have such a crush on Pinkie Pie, that feel.... that..... feel.
Magic the Gathering planeswalkers. Chandra, passionate firemage who values freedom above all. Liliana, master of dark magic and necromancy who would do whatever it takes to fulfill her ambitions. Yeah, they are kind of cute.
Well with that logic in mind, RainBow Dash, but I just can't help but feel that the Male ponies in the show are so derpy D:
Princess Azula of the fire nation from Avatar, the Last Airbender. She is tough, confident and can kick your flank in a second. She is also an expert manipulator of great intelligence, reaching a combination of the awesome tomboy and the hyper intelligent outcast archetypes. Despite being born into a line of great power, she has very few close friends as most are highly intimidated by her, both for her bloodline, reputation and general behavior. Did I mention firebending? That is what you call hot (literally). With all this going for her, there need to be some kind of drawback right? You guessed it, she is kinda...well...evil, and seem to totally lack empathy, caring only about her own goals. Some would even claim she is totally insane. That means Rainbow Dash still has the crown as my number one girl, she has after all very similiar traits and is actually a good person. And yeah, I do reccomend the show, it is quite awesome.
