Hello Everypony, my name is Sean and I'm 17 years old. I've been a brony since late September 2011. I discovered MLP when I was browsing another forum and found a thread about mlp. Curious and bored I decided to watch it myself. After watching the first couple episodes I was hooked, which honestly was kind of disturbing. I basically couldn't get it out of my head that I shouldn't like this or even be watching it because of my age and gender. I used to watch Powerpuff Girls(which was another awesome show) when I was little, but I don't... I spent like an entire week watching the first season and it just felt really awkward. I kept it a secret for as long as I could because I was afraid of what everyone would think and how they would react. But one day my little sister caught me watching the show, and of course she had to make fun of me and tell my mom. I tried everything I could to keep her from telling everyone, but I knew should she would eventually. So before my sister had the chance to tell my mom I figured I Just tell her myself because I could explain it better. Surprisingly she didn't think there was anything wrong with me liking the show or the fan base it has(though she does think it's a little weird) which made me feel a lot better. After some time I finally accepted my love for the show and realized that there's nothing wrong with me liking a cartoon, or anything else intended for a demographic I don't fall within. So yeah, that's my story about how I became a brony. Anyways, as for things I like, I like military history. Everything military I enjoy learning about, weapons, tactics, technology, past wars and the history behind it. It's all just fascinating to me. I love animals, especially dogs. I also play lots of different video games. I really look forward to meeting everyone and hopefully make some new friends.
