We'll have the next topic up by this Wednesday. It takes some time to pick out judges and whatnot. In fact, if you know anybody who might be interested in helping out, don't hesitate to guide them over :3
Since it turns out actually drawing something myself isn't my biggest interest, i'd love to help out with the judging of it.
Whelp, this is going to be fun and hard. Good luck Everypony! Edit: Done and done. View attachment 5257 You just said, do D'aaaaawww, so I did Owlowiscious.
And get fed up faster. Not to mention the time limit. Fastest my recent pictures have been finished is about 7-9 days. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
There are steps being taken now to try and get tutorials created to help other artist become better pony artists. It can happen. And before you get speed, you have to take it slow so you learn correctly. I just started painting and the one image I am working on has taken nearly 3 weeks already. It's not easy starting out, but when you have it, you will get faster! Bear with us, help is on the way.
I had an idea for the artists who wish to take their time more. How about there's two separate contests; one that comes once a week and one that comes once every two weeks. This way, the artists that use more time can take the two-week challenge rather than speeding through a picture to get it out in a week.
Maybe. The Artist Training Grounds seems to be getting quite popular. Maybe we can build on it a little more. Anyway, let's not derail and keep this thread to the actual contest.
Considering I've only gotten one submission so far, I should probably extend it a couple of days by Wednesday.
