everypony my dears i cannot express my delight,
of how theres a pet to suit everyone just right!

I cant wait to get started, but first let me set a few rules
for random discussion, this thread will not be your mule!! ( keep it on topic)

Therll be so many questions , to answer them all we shall try (try to be polite if someone asks a questions)
like should i get a lion or a butterfly?

now the WHIMSY is done, time for seriousness time .

this thread is for people to discuss about their pets, ask questions, or share pictures of their pets.

my first question, what is everyones opinion on spaying cats?

i understand that while it can help them against deiseases,
i woudnt feel comfortable knowing i denied my cat the chance to have her own kittens

    what are your opinions?

Nice topic, my dad just so happens to be a veterinarian ^^

as for spaying cats, I'm not so sure where I stand on the subject.

I have a pet pomeranian named Penny. She's the cutest darn thing you could ever find on this side of the planet :omg:
...Oh, and she's really old, so she only has 3 teeth *shrugs*

    One cat. One single cat. Named Dusty. xP She's the top of the totem pole, right above SunBurn. >>;

EDIT: I definitely support the spaying of cats, for the simple reason that there is already an abundant population of cats. In fact, house cats are one of the biggest threats to songbirds. Plus, baby kitties can be expensive.

Both those threads are pretty old, so this one isn't a big problem in my opinion, they can be merged though, if you'd prefer?

Whether the threads are necro'd, merged or just forgotten, it's still nice to talk about things.

Right now we only have one cat. We call her Puss. I'd say what her official name is, but that'd be breaking the rules on explicit language on the site.... and the funny thing is, I'm not even kidding. >.>

My cat was close to that, but in Korean - Sheba.

Gone from liver failure, wanting to get another when we move out of the rental

We have a dog, and he's a golden retriever/poodle mix named Ozzie. He's adorkable. Also, see: huge.

I want a snake when I get older. It should be a fair-sized one, but not too big. Something big enough to eat any bug that might bother me. I think I'll name it Wallace, Reginald, Johannes, or some other swanky name. I also want a cat. If I can't get both a cat and a snake (because the snake might "bother" the cat") I'd get a cat and a large lizard. The lizard would be named Lizard, and the cat would be named Ramona, Bron, or Felix.

    WOHOHOHOHOHO!

In all seriousness though, I've considered getting something like a rabbit. They seem cute and fun to play with.

@Darkshine; THATS WHY YOU GET 1

Rabbits are usually good pets as "petting pets" I only ever had one that was roudy and didn't like to be held

I once had a rabbit by the name of Bugs. It was a half lop-eared rabbit - one ear was up one was down.

It chased the cat everywhere ._.
