So is it a yes? no? you got left behind? Cause I've been gone most of the day and like 5 pages of stuff happened and I kinda feel like it'd be inconvenient of me to jump in.
Well, feel free to jump in our group at any time. We haven't started our epic journey of survival yet, and i was about to propose to look for survivors before we go.
Prepare to see the most unorthodox style of fighting ever. (Also, Sparky you might wanna edit your post like Starlight ended up doing (though I'm not sure why) I had to as well, but it's fine, cause it means i get to show you my characters way of combat.) Not quite what I meant by edit your post Sparky, Starlight edited what he did in the last post (for reasons unknown to me) which means we never teleported away.
Sorry about the edit, I figured now'd be the perfect time for Shadow to showcase some of her talent, and if any strange ponies showed up due to the scream, I'd teleport. I'd kinda like to see what she'd do in a fight and give Sparky a bit of action before we simply teleported away. Seemed like a neat idea at the time...^///^
Hey it's fine, not going to change much. As to what she is in a fight, how about absolutely insane. You're seeing for yourself the way she fights, lets face it, setting ones hooves on fire dosen't exactly show much consideration for their own wellbeing. By the way, something I thought i'd mention is that when she has italics without quotation marks such as in my most recent post, that's her current personality thinking to herself. When the italics are in quotation marks that means the other personality is talking to them. Just in case that last one confused anypony.
Not much has happened with Dark, other than sending to of her guards to assist one of the groups and blowing the head off a lowly Strange Pony.
From what I can gather, the story is like this: -The message to Manehatten sounds, and the 48 hour time limit begins. -A studying pony (Quill) decides to stay and research something. He writes on a few slips of paper and throws them out the window. (What did he write?! I gotta know!) -At the same time, Heartburn, laying in the middle of her room in shock, decides to try to escape. -A Strangeling (Sparky) attacks Heartburn and attempts to kill her before she can leave. -A passing civilian (Sailor) overhears the attack, and attempts to distract the Strangeling so it can't kill Heartburn. He fails. -Gaze enters the fray with a pistol, causing the Strangeling to change targets. Two more Strange Ponies join. -The two Strange Ponies are quickly dealt with by Heartburn (in a fear-induced state) and the Strangeling, deeming another attack on the group too difficult, backs off and takes to the rooftops. -Dark comes across the small group and gives his troops as assistance to them. The group then decides to make a trip through the city. (I'm gonna call this group Group 1 ^^) -A pony on the rooftops (Rashall) wonders if he should reveal himself to the new group and offer help. He decides against it. Meanwhile... -A pony is awakened from his sleep (Facade) and is informed that there is a group of ponies banding together in the distance (I think Group 1). -He decides to help them, but only to gain either power in numbers or a food source for the Strange Ponies, should he get cornered. Shortly afterward... -A pony (Starlight) decides to go deeper into the city to find more survivors. -At the same time, a happy-go-lucky pony (Cyanside) bounces through alleyways to reach the airship. -She doesn't see where she's going (because she's walking backwards) and runs directly into the Strangeling who attacked the first group. He's determined to kill; her alter ego (Shadow) is determined to survive. -He charges for her, knocking her lighter out of her hoof. He is stopped by a beam of light, and the pony who fired the beam (Starlight) attempts to protect the "defenseless" filly. -The filly picks up her dropped lighter and lights her hooves on fire. Starlight decides to defend instead of attack. -The Strangeling instead goes after Starlight, and he creates a shield with his magic. The Strangeling chips away at the shield and, after lowering Star's defenses to a point, screams and alerts the horde. -The horde quickly surround the two uninfected ponies on all sides. The shield breaks and, not having any other choice, Starlight uses a great deal of energy teleporting himself and the filly down into the secret tunnels below. (They are now Group 2 ^^) That's everything that's happened so far! Hope your laziness wears off, Quill!
Teleporting isnt a good escape.Its just annoying.Plus i can still use sonar screech to find you again.
Gives my hooves a bit of rest from being on fire. And might give us the opportunity to find a chokepoint to better handle large numbers of the strange ponies.
