    Personally I would hope that when/if Trixie returns in season 3 it sets her up as a side character like Big Mac, Cherilee, Zecora, etc.


    As for actual background Ponies, I like alot of em, Carrot Top is one of my faves, but also like Bon-Bon, Lyra, Caramel, Derpy, Time Turner, DJ PON-3..etc.. all the background ponies are fun in their own right.... they should do an episode all about the background characters some day.

    There's a difference from a side/ supporting character and a background character. Zecora is not a background character.
