Today's Generaton

I love the older games.(Half Life SWKOTOR SWBF MoH frontline SWJK2 etc....) The only thing they dont have going for the is graphics.But who cares if its fun?

 

When I get kids, it's SNES and Kirby Super Star for christmas, not xxEVEN_MORE_MODERN_WARFARE_NEW_GUNS_10_NOSCOPEPROxx

 

I want to say kids today will be responsible for the downfall of mankind, but the adults already around are doing a pretty good job of that as is, I mean I figure all the current generation will do is bash that final nail into the coffin thats already been built.


And then, once all the imbeciles are gone, thee meek & the nerdy shall inherit the earth, upon which we shall build a utopia...untill we get mad at each other and wipe each other out in the most pathetic war ever.

But yeah thats super negative, so i'll just say this, weather man attains damnation or salvation, i'll just be sitting back in my easy chair watching where the cookies crumble. Preferably with a nice soda and a good sandwich.

Humans aren't powerful enough to destroy the World. We could destroy humanity but the Earth would live on.

 

Let's cover the atmosphere with nitroglycerin then set fire to it, catapulting the core into the sun.

 

You'd need a huge amount of it. And even after that, we'd all be dead so we couldn't see if the Earth survives it.

This is getting off topic now, so I'll finish with this, the previous generation has screwed up today's generation, which will result in the next generation to be screwed up even more.

For all we know, this generation could be exactly the same as the last. It's too early to come to conclusions.

 

All you guys basing people on whether they have "lived" or not dependant on if they had a SNES are just as bad as the chavs, to me.

 

So you say that kids who would rather pay Call of Duty over Pokemon Stadium is a good thing?

 

I say that I stand for Honesty, Equality, Kindness, Compassion, Treating others as I would like to be treated, and helping those in Need. I can play call of duty if I want.

 

Yes, yes you can.
But the kids don't have anything to compare it too, that's what's wrong.

I've said it before on this thread, Call of Duty isn't a bad game. It's just got an annoying fanbase. But every fanbase has some annoying people, so you can't hate them to much.

And some people prefer different games to others. You may love FPSs and hate Pokemon, or vice-versa, or you may like or hate both. But your preferences don't define you as a person (in most cases).

 

So I must, by your definition, immediately be just like those guys?

...This is what I mean, the SNES/Nintendo/Whatever people just having this massive Ego and thinking that they are vastly superior to those that didn't have one.

 

I have also played Nintendo 64 and SNES. My dad introduced me to his old SNES when i was 6, and showed me how to play stuff. I was in love with it. When i was 10, I joined a Local RPG club, and they had every console. I started playing nintendo 64 with my friends and loved that aswell. I am more a fan of the old games than the new games. The first "real" game i played on a computer was Diablo 2 when i was 7. I still play it, cause of the nostalgia. I have all the diablo games, and i love them. I also really like Alpha Centauri.

Depends. Which CoD? I hate pokemon.....

But i refuse to play the newer CoD...The old ones were good.
