Item Received: Draconic Tooth TickTock You follow the eyes, the nagging feeling that you're walking into a trap growing stronger every second. As you continue through the winding woods, you notice the trees beginning to part up ahead, almost making a road heading deeper into the forest. As you look around you notice that the eyes have disapeared, and this time don't seem to be keen on reappearing anytime soon. You suddenly realise that getting back might be more of a problem then going in was. Location Discovered: Northeastern Overgrowth, you will be able to find your way back here (or lead other ponies here) with ease...now all you have to do is find your way out.
Inferno laughed, sort of proud of herself, then looked to her wounded self. She picked up the tooth as a prize and went back to the Pegasi camp, bearing it proudly. "Looky what I got!" She exclaimed.
Location: Northeastern Forest As TickTock struggled to find the way back to the camp, she picked up the sound of howling not too far away to her left. She remembers hearing something about how the wood from the Timberwolves in this forest is easily manipulated by magic, and would therefore be a valuable resource. But they are also aware that the Timberwolves can be quite a ferocious foe and travel in packs. Location: Pegasi Camp Commander Hurricane flew back and forth between the tents in the Pegasi camp, his agitation for the situation clearly showing. What could that Unicorn have been planning, and how did she have the Princess's backing? Was it like he had thought and it was just some scheme to gain political power for the unicorns? But then where did the white mare fit into things? Hurricane shook his head as if it would clear up the clutter of his thoughts. This was getting him nowhere, what he needed was pegasi strong enough to stand against whatever those unicorns had planned. Somepony that could defeat anything. As if on cue a blue pegasus flew into the camp, joyously holding what appeared to be a small dragon's tooth and exclaming "Looky what i got!". Hurricane's mind quickly came to a realisation. If this pony were capable of defeating a dragon, even a small one, without training, what power could she unleash with the proper instructor. "You there, What's your name...Dragon Slayer?"
(Sorry Jhera, tried of waiting) After Snow had dropped off the apples, she started to make her way back to the unicorn camp when she got a lightbulb. What if watching the pegasi will help the transformation? She thought, and then quickly changed directions and made her way towards a hill close to the Pegasi Camp.
(WOOPS! Totally forgot about that, I was waiting for someone to do a post about me! How silly! :x) "Thank you kindly, Snow." Hibiscus said as she left. I wonder what she's off to do now? he thought as he approached the camp's cook. Lemon Drop only had to take one look at him and his plethora of apples before she groaned. "Are you bucking serious?" she asked, bewildered. "So, who did you steal these from? The apple family? You know those poor folk can hardly grow a tree on their own, how do you expect them to make up for this?" Hibiscus facehoofed at her accusation. "No, no, these aren't stolen! I'm too old to be stealing anyways! I enlisted the help of one of the unicorns to find these for me; they're wild. Now, could you please make some cider out of these, or do I have to take the recipe and make them myself." Lemon drop thought for a moment, then pulled out a piece of papyrus and started scribbling on it. Hibiscus's eye twitched. She isn't seriously... Before he could complete his thought, she tossed the recipe in his face. "Happy now?" she asked, attempting to repress her rising laughter. "Go make yourself some cider, I have better things to do!"
Snow stood ontop of the hill, looking down at the Pegasi camp. Snow had always wondered what it would be like to soar through the sky, unhindered by any sort of tether…She shook herself from her daydream, "Remember Snow, watch them, do not drift off, and if Hurricane comes, book it." she told herself as she laid down to watch them.
TickTock stood and considered her options, face the wolves, or go on ahead. TickTock wasn't eager to get into a fight, but she knew she had to step up at some point, why not now? TickTock took off towards the wolves, rambling to herself "Oh chill ticker, they're just wooden wolves..." TickTock glanced around as she walked. "You can fight them." TickTock sounded confident in that. "...or maybe I'll lose terribly." TickTock batted that thought out of her mind and kept going, following the howling.
In Hibiscus's tent, Earth Pony Camp "Ahhhh... Cider my love... emm... uh.." Iris... is having her usual Daydream... "Please... Don't kill me... Stay away from me... u.. arg... don't!" Yes... her Daydream... "What have you done... to me... Zypher..." Then she cry and scream... Her cheek is full of tear... She's still sleeping... Alone in the dark...
Snow made her way back to camp after spending a couple hours watching the pegasi. Almost as soon as she entered the camp, she ran into Tremalion, "Oh, look who finally found their way back." Tremalion said sarcastically. "I'll have you know that I was visiting a friend." Snow said, speaking half-true. "Well, I was told to tell you that the first elections are coming up in a few days, and I want to remind you to play fair." Tremalion said coldly before walking off. "Don't worry Tremalion, I will." she said with a sly smile, If showing that I can raise the sun is fair.
Hibiscus wandered into his tent to grab his supplies when he saw Iris still passed out inside. His eye twitched. She's still here? he thought with a pang of annoyance. Ignoring her, he collected a few supplies to add to his collection of stuff he had gotten from the cook. "I'll show her...I can make cider all on my own..." He glanced at the paper and sighed. It wasn't a complex recipe, but he still had no idea what he was doing! With everything in place, he sat down and began deciphering what he was to do.
Location: Northeastern Forest Rashall lay in wait in the brush of the forest, watching the young timberwolf as it stalked its small woodland prey. If it weren't for the lethal tread of a predator and it's tough wooden exterior, it might have even classified as cute. However, as it stood these creatures were no doubt dangerous, but studying this one has helped you to better understand the beasts. Ability gained: Timberwolf Theoretics (Grants an additinal 20% Dexterity when fighting members of the Timberwolf family) Meanwhile... TickTock could hear the sounds of the Timberwolves howling getting progressively louder as she approached them. However, as she neared the source of the sound, she heard not too far away from her, a less threating type of noise. It still sounded distinctly like the timberwolves, but this one sounded like a cub, or not too much older than one. Upon closer inspection you find a young timberwolf chasing after a small woodland animal that it had decided as it's prey. As it leaps towards its tiny target, you see an pegasus hidden in the foliage for the briefest instant, the sudden passage of the timberwolf breaking the illusion of being part of the forest plants. Location: Pegasi Tents "Inferno eh?" Hurricane let a small smirk cross his features. "I like you Inferno, how would you like to under-go some 'Private tutoring'." Hurricane let out a hearty laugh before continuing "Unfortunately I don't mean the kind mares wish for, but I see a lot of potential in you as one of the best soldiers that Pega-I mean Equestria, has ever seen." His voice lowers to almost a hushed whisper. "Stick with me kid, and you'll go far."
Inferno smiled, a grin was on her face. "Yes. Can I use my fire?" She pulled out her flint and steel and pointed to it, tiliting her head.
So.. where am I? She mumble I'm in anonymous old tent... empty keg... smell like cider... Her hoof are holding the mug... Cider Mug... this mean... I'm drunk... She slowly lift herself up from the floor ...but how long? She decide to look around and examine this tent... Umm... Sound like someone make somethings... smell like somethings burn... As I can analysis from stuff in this tent. The old and drunkard earth pony living in here. Why am I doing here? Of course she know why is 'she' come in here. There is a Apple Mountain out side his house. There is name tag in front of this Earth Pony Tent, it said.. Hibiscus... the name of the flower huh... doesn't sound like him at all... She giggles (Don't blame me I'm just telling the truth from what I see). She walk to the voice direction inside the tent. As she expect, she found... "Are you... Hibiscus, the owner of this tent? I'm please to meet you... My name is Iris" she politely introduce herself to him "May I ask you a feel question? What are you doing and what is a situation of the Equestria, politically" He doesn't reply anything or even look back to me. It that because I'm a Pegasus? If that the case this Earth Pony is unreasonably... Racist... Yes... Racist... Sadly.. Like everyone else... There is no different between each other since they born... Why? Because they know nothing about each other, mistrust and misunderstanding. As a result, it was fear and hated which taking place since flee from the Frozen Land. It was the dark history of the Pony that still taken place until now.. Everypony still hate each because we are physically different.. sigh... It can't be help then.. so she decide to ask him the same question and in a different tone voice... and stare at him in the eyes... "Would you kindly tell me what are you doing and what is a situation of the Equestria, politically. Tell me everything you know... If it is about cider, I can help you with cider but do not worry.. I'm not going to drink any of them. I promise..." She smile... stare at him and look through in his eye "so please... tell me... about yourself" And then she realise... Oh no... he probably was too busy concentrate on his works.. so he did heard what I said...
Rashall continued to move through the forest, just being surrounded by the tree's and not other ponies arguing over everything made him feel happier.
Ugh, Marigold, please! Hibiscus thought as he heard the pony behind him. Just leave, enough with the cider! I'm sick of you're constant chatter of how drunk I always am! Without hearing the rest of the message, Hibiscus continued on his cider. Nearly one third of the apples had already been wasted from failed attempts, and he was really getting edgy that he may not have enough to get the recipe right. Suddenly, he felt a hoof on his flank and he turned around to stare directly into Iris's eyes. "Would you kindly tell me what are you doing and what is a situation of the Equestria, politically. Tell me everything you know... If it is about cider, I can help you with cider but do not worry.. I'm not going to drink any of them. I promise...so please... tell me... about yourself" Hibiscus could only stare into her eyes and not say anything. It was as if she was staring directly into his soul, decoding the meaning of every action and thought he had ever had. Opening his mouth Hibiscus could only manage to say "Ahudon..." He backed up a step and forced himself to say "I- I'm sorry. You scared the hell out of me...could you please repeat your question?" The memory of Iris's eyes haunted Hibiscus's brain, causing him to shudder. What kind of pony has eyes like that...
"Alright everypony, gather round!" Snow called from the center of the camp, this would be just a trial run, she would do it fully on the platform, but maybe... "What is it now Snow?" Tremalion called out from the gathering crowd. "Oh just a little something I wanted to show the good ponies of this camp. You all know how I was responsible for the overseeing of the lunar and solar raisings and lowerings correct?" a murmuring went through the crowd as they remembered her extremely tight schedule and her punishments for those that didn't follow them, "Well, I wanted to show you that it is possible for ONE unicorn to do so!" Snow called excitedly, which almost instantly was meet with disbelief and calls of "Impossible!". Snow smiled to herself as the crowd simmered and found Tremalion standing there, looking at her, daring, a look saying, "Try it, I dare you." Snow smiled a little wider at that to show her confidence and closed her eyes. Her horn lit up, being slowly surrounded by ever more layers of magic. The crowd grew hush and Tremalion's smug look faded as the sun above ever so slowly began to move down its path. They had been about to gather the sunset crew for this but...The sun slowly shrunk behind the horizon. Where Snow was, she collapsed from exhaustion, and Tremalion ran up to her, feeling for the first time both respect and the need to care for his sister.
TickTock stared at the tiny timberwolf run by, when her eyes catch the glimpse of the pegasus, she focuses her eyes on the spot. "Wh-who's there?" TickTock stepped foreward, trying to keep her hooves light.
"Mii..." She giggles "I see you kinda busy... I'm sorry to interrupt your work." She lean backward on the chair. She decide to keep distance between me and him. It's seem that I freak him out... He is terrifying... my poor and cutie little baby... She is smiling... Smile all over her face... She's happy Finally we can talk about important matter She looks around the tent... There is no one in here... Perfect! "So Hibiscus..... Would you kindly answer me few questions? Oh.. I'm sorry about that voice and my stare though. It seem that I went to far... " She ask him a question with very soft voice to clam him down. "First, What are you doing? Second, What is the situation around the Equestria, Who currently rule the Equestria? Third, How am I here in your tent?" She stop and think back... "Em... Maybe I can recall 13 seconds of our conversation." "Would you kindly tell me what are you doing and what is a situation of the Equestria. Tell me everything you know... If it is about cider, I can help you with that stuff but do not worry.. I'm not going to drink any of them. You can drink as much as you want as long as you like. I promise but first tell me what is going on in Equestria" "and also..." Suddenly, her eyes is gone wild. Atmosphere in this room become darker and darker. She said... "Hibiscus... Where is Princess Celestia?"
