I can admit I was, in fact, I first watched the show to help myself out with a troll effort I was gonna do with a group of my friends on "Ponychan." I watched it so I could fairly say to bronies that I have watched the show and I did not like it, so I decided to watch the first two episodes... I had watched the entire season by the end of the day! So, out of curiosity, is anybody else here an ex-troll? or a parasprite as some ponies call them? EDIT: It seems as thought there are few of you that were trolls beforehand XD and that I'm part of a minority that did troll bronies, but now don't, but still troll other people from time to time.
...I still am. Today, I figured out my brother's EventHubs password and posted about how he was a closet brony... When he isn't. And half of the people there... *Whispers* are people from his school... :Trollestia: Well, now he can go through all the crap my wife went through in high school. I'm so cruel to my brother... I think I went a bit far this time. Oh well. I'm thinking of putting up my stars on my Troll-Wall in about a year. I've had my fun with trolling, but you've seen one reaction, you've seen 'em all. It was hilarious how many responses he got there though. I'm SO hypocritical. And I love it.
Ha, nice. I'm still a troll too, but not towards bronies, I have respect for them now... seeing as I am one. >.>
You're lying if you say you've never had fun with your non-brony friends/in forums where people are violently opposed to ponies putting up a picture somewhere and seeing them all get pissed. That's like one of the first things anyone does when they become a brony it seems haha
Ex-troll? What do you mean, Ex-troll? Trolling is a art, and I am an artist. I have a code though, so I don't troll bronies. Besides, anti-bronies are much easier to troll, seeing as bronies happen to love and tolerate for the most part. The irony is, I became a troll when I tried learning to art to become untrollable. I now am untrollable, but the lulz... they call to me Post Scriptum: Signature is relevant.
When I said ex-troll, I meant like someone who had once trolled bronies, but have changed due to becoming one themself. XD and I agree with you about how easy it is to troll anti-bronies... just post one pony related meme or pic and they freak the hell out.
Guys... it's your own choice how you behave on the internets. But opening a topic on this forum for sharing your experiences as a troll, it seems a bit... out of place here :/ Do you understand what I mean? Trolling has nothing to do with either love or tolerance. In fact, it has the opposite effect...
I agree with you about the troll stories thing, but the point of this topic is to ask if you were an anti-brony before you were a brony, not to retell troll stories, besides, I'm sure the admin who replied to my post here would've removed the topic if he thought it was wrong to have on this forum. The troll stories just came up for no real reason and I'm sorry that they may have bothered you a tad.
I don't think I've ever really trolled. Anything I did close to that was when I was young(nine) and really stupid. xD Besides that, I've only ever really played jokes with friends.
I only ever "counter-troll", usually in video games if someone is trolling, I declare that its fair game to go after them with all the dirty tactics you have... My personal favourite is the Minecraft "replace the fireplace with TNT". If a member is trolling your server, and you don't want to ban them, find their house. If it has a fireplace, replace the blocks beneath the "fuel" with TNT, the fire will spread and set them off!
Well......no. I only observe the trolls. I admit I have been Trolled and that wasn't the best experience. I ended up laughing at the guy and everything was fine. But I've never Trolled anyone. I simply love and tolerate the crap out of him. I think ponies have gotten rid of all my rage, actually.
I'm not very good at trolling, mostly because I hate bothering people. It doesn't matter if they deserve it, I'm just not comfortable with it...
I was never a troll. I don't really see how trolling can be fun, seeing as you don't even know the people in real life. I had an open mind when Luprony told me to watch the pilot episodes, although I suspected I would like it seeing as I am seriously into Pokemon, and I like cartoon shows with clever humour. I don't see any need to attack people for what they like, and I'm glad that's changed for you Snowy Shuffles.
I've never (to my memory) trolled for real, although I have jokingly trolled--almost all the time in the EPR chat. XD
Family Guy seems to be a some-what large target for trolling recently... I like the older seasons of the show, it is kind of dry now, but hey, at least we have MLP to keep us satisfied! I get into troll schemes ALL the time on deviantART, we're doing one right now and I'm 17 XD It's all just for fun, anyways. Holy crap, I love greifing my friend Pedro on our Minecraft server XD I swear that every time I log on, his room turns int a crater because of cleverly placed TNT by yours truly. XDDD He gets so worked up about it, it's hilarious. I wouldn't know, dude. I haven't been here long enough to see too many of your posts! Observing can be really fun if trolls make an excellent point to the person they're trolling... but I also find it amusing to watch fail-trolls fail at a simply argument. XD That's respectable :] Trolling isn't for everyone y'know. Awe, that's sweet, I understand :] Trolling can be fun if you target people that you personally feel are rude and mean. Not saying that trolling is the answer, but if someone like me wants to fun, sometimes trolling can be the answer to have a good joke. For example, I HATED overly-flamboyant bronies for the longest time and that's what kept me away from MLP: FiM, so I decided to assist a group of friends in trolling them for no particular reason which lead to me watching the show and then landing me on this forum. XD I feel there's a difference between trolling and attacking, but I don't want to argue with you about it, so I'll just love and tolerate you! That sounds fun XD
