Meditation is the key maaan. I know how frustrating trying to meditate can be, though.

Don't try to force them away. That only leads to stress which is the last thing we need here.
Just try to relax, let the voices do their thing, be like a bystander. But don't focuss on them.
And when you feel able to, see if you lead your focuss away from them and be 'thoughtless' for even the tiniest moment.

At least that's how I would do it. Not sure if I'm explaining it right...

Well, I've jumped right into Tupla forcing without really knowing how to do it. I did it while I was taking the bus to work, and once again on the way home. So far, I've been focusing mostly between trying to generate objects within my "Tupla-land" and trying to generate a form for my Tupla. I've managed to generate simple polygons; I turned a circle into a snowball, and when I tryed to make a triangle, I got a weird-triangle man. The by far most startling form I've seem to have generated is a man in a cloak, surrounded by a purple aura. I never got to see his face, and he had some design on the back of his cloak that I can't quite describe. Before I generated him, I focused alot on the color "purple", trying to see if I can make something with the color purple.

I think I'm getting somewhere with my Tupla Force technique, but I'm going to have to actually read up on something, because I don't think I'm doing it right.

Ok, serious. You do not need to invision the wonderland from your eyelids. You have to do it from where you dream, so its clearer. I hope you guys have fun doing this, I'm currently focusing on first person POV in my wonderland. And read faq mans guide to tulpaforcing on tulpa.info

I can say that it is not a hoax.
Let me say more and more people are doing this, and are coming up with great results. Give it a try before judging...

I'd just like to stress to everyone to trust their own intuition in this, because all this mind stuff will work completely different for each individual.

If doing something in the process doesn't seem right to you, don't do it just because some guide told you so.

The guides are something to give you a general idea. Do what YOU feel right.

Well, I guess I am doing it wrong if I am seeing actual images.

I have read from an article that a state of drowsiness helps boost creativity and imagination, mainly because you are not completley aware of the real world, granting more freedom. I guess I would give this some merit, because it seems some of my best ideas come from either late at night or early in the morning.

Also, I don't know if anyone would actually try this, but would writing out the traits of my Tupla before doing some Tuplaforcing help to mold it better? That way I have a goal in mind, and I can focus on it.

Write out the traits and personality, then tell it to your tulpa. Talk to it, believe its already there. Explain and elaborate its traits/etc....

I have the same problem, only more advanced. I see things that are not there constantly. But in counter-cat of that, i become less and less sane. I spend time at the computer to destroy this effect as i can only see the two screens, and nothing else.

Oh, and i've started building a Tulpa from scratch. Problem is, i made her "model" without knowing it, basing of one of my OCs. What's the problem? The first inputs, and again i did this without knowing about it, was battle strikes. Yep, i commissioned her to fight against me. Thing was, i was controlling what she would do, until she managed to put her left hoof to my right cheek without me foreboding about it. So, this is probably gonna be a bumpy ride, to say the least.

Would it be strange if I said I am pretty sure I saw Snow when I woke up this morning?

Maybe your nonexistant tulpa wants you to make him into one.

Well, I gave my Tulpa a few nessecary traits.

I'd figure Loyalty would be #1 (After all, I don't want the thing turning against me) Why is it loyal? He/It thinks at pretty much the same level as me, so we get along together well. Not only that, but he/it believes that the world can be a much better place if everyone would just talk to each other and communicate. Loyalty is an honor to him, and allows him to act out on his ideal, in broad daylight.

Tolerance is the other nessecary trait I gave to me Tulpa. Even to my friends, they can see me as a loon, and don't want to listen to radical ideas. The tolerance trait takes on the trait from my father, who says he's been through alot of stuff in his life that he regrets, just to please people. Tolerance would allow me to maintain a good conversation with my Tulpa, even if I get off-topic. Why is my Tupla tolerant? It pertains to part of his view of humanity itself, believing that we are "very smart, yet very stupid". As intelligent as I might come off to be, I am a human after all, and I make mistakes like everyone else. So my Tulpa can handle that.

As for his actual "beliefs and ideals", I am still working that out. The basic concept so far is that he believes that people are ignorant when the answers are right in front of them, and tries his best let other people "see the light", as per say.

    Damn, this is fun.

P.S: I am not done. After I put some more "primary traits", to define his beliefs, ideals, and basic personality, I still have to go into those other rink-a-dink traits like "is funny" and "likes pizza". Stuff like that.

This seems really interesting to me though from everything described I must say. . . I've done it all it seems without even trying @_@

Over active imagination on my part I think.

I plan to. I wonder what the long-term psychological side-effects of doing something like this might be, though. Does it increase/decrease one's chances of developing a serious mental illness? I also wonder if it might have any effect on the development of dementia in later life...

Do you have to constantly work on visualizing the tulpa to keep the hallucination present in your senses, or is it just there for good once you get to the point where you're hallucinating it 24/7?
