Itachi isn't a villain. His clan was corrupted so he was ordered by the elders to kill them to prevent a civil war. From then on he was a double agent in the Akatsuki. Notice how he never killed any leaf ninja, though he clearly had the power to. I don't know how much you've seen or if you read the manga so I'll stop here in order not to spoil anything.
Like from The Lion King? He came across my mind when I came to this thread. If we're rating who is MOST evil, he would certainly be up there.
I'd say you thouroughly spoiled it already! XD Then again, this ain't a naruto fansite, and the mentioned "spoilers" have already appeared in anime ages ago.
Scar is one of the best villains because he told none of the good guys his plans and enacted his plans with a single, memorable line, "Long live the king!"
If that spoiled it, then whoever I spoiled it for must not be much of a Naruto fan. That information has been seen throughout the manga years ago, the japanese w/subs years ago, and the english dub months ago.
one of my favorite villains id say the riddler, 2face, scare crow, and discord a combo would be awesome

You mean Sasuke's darkness before or after he killed Itachi? I thought he was cool until the whole incident at the Kage summit.(Not sure if you've seen that yet) His personality changed completely.
Actually, Sasuke's official title is, and always has been deuteragonist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deuteragonist Anyone who says he's an antagonist only uses the word out of ignorance of it's true meaning.
