I watched the livestream of that while it was happening. It was surreal. And horrible too. I felt so bad... The match up to that point was fantastic.
There were accusations of cheating. After reading what you wrote, I looked up a list of all the stripped medals in olympic history, and there was only one listing for the 2012 London Olympics
Favorite parts of the Olympics? Obviously opening and closing ceremonies were really cool. It was a pretty good beach volleyball match between the two American teams. I really liked seeing South Africa, who wasn't predicted to win at all, get gold in one of the rowing competitions. That the one competitor from my state placed 15th in mountain biking (not too bad). That there were some upsets in swimming, and that we didn't completely dominate there. The handball and water polo matches I saw were awesome to watch. I had to lol at the awful excuse given for the American male judo competitor who got kicked out of the Olympics (my family sent me brownies, and I didn't realize there was pot in them!). The gymnastics were overall exciting to watch.
Yeah, you'd be surprised how many people get disqualified for track events. They're so strict with the rules.
Anyways, I dunno what the best thing was, but the worst thing was banning bikinis in Beach Volleyball. So much people disappoint in Russia...
Suddenly the amount of views for volleyball dropped. No one knows why. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
What I say: Basketball, track and field What I mean: Anything with a female athlete in it. I felt like I had to tell the truth. Beach volleyball anybody? A little off-topic, but I do think the shorts got longer.
Hehehehe. It's funny... Earlier i read someone found dressage weird in terms of being an Olympic sport... Yet dressage is actually harder then show jumping. X3 Ah the joys of being a horse rider... Specifically English in this case. It looks weird and seems boring... Trust me i know... But its actually more physically taxing on horse and rider then show jumping. Jumping stresses the legs... Mainly but dressage is collection of all the muscles. X3 still boring unless you know what to look far and actually are interested on how they get horses to move like that. They seem pretty much like the same thing to me. I guess I can't argue though since I barely even watched it at all. Some people are starting to take my statement too seriously.
I think fencing had the coolest arena. Complete darkness, except for the stage, which is lit up in green and red. It's so awesome!
