Read them, or at least the summaries/synopses. They're so much deeper and more expanded. The characters from Shadow's universe are incorporated down the line, but not as central characters that I remember.
Hmm, well, I have many favorites for various reasons. Wolverine, just because he's the best at what he does, and, bub, it's not pretty. Rogue, probably because I'm rather sympathetic to her super power causing her to not be able to get close to people. Vision, because there's just something about an android willing to help humans. My wife has two favorites that are also high on my list, so I thought I'd mention them here: Ghost Rider, as she's a not-so-closet biker babe. Thunderbunny, as she likes bunnies.
