Samsung Galaxy GT-15500 I use it once every blue moon. It tottaly does not take forever to turn on [/sarcasm]
Depends which way you want to go. iOS has been around for years, so Apple has had their time to perfect and make it real sleek and fast. Downside is that you're real restricted with what you can do with an iPhone, unless you choose to Jailbreak it. Most apps cost money as well. Android is a Linux based operating system, so it's open source (oooh). Most apps on the Google store are free and there are more games than Apple (from what I've seen). I personally love Android and it'll do just about anything iOS can. However, Android tends to get real sluggish real quick if you've installed many apps. Apple's iOS has that reputation of being super sleek and fast even with many apps running. The reason is not because of hardware limitations, but how the OS's are designed. Yes, Google in fact makes Android run sluggish on purpose (look it up). But, I digress. If you're looking for a phone, Android or iOS, you should take some time to get some pros and cons articles up describing the difference between the two.
Way to make me feel a little behind guys (Other than you guys that have never had cell phones) I'm still stuck with a 4-5 year old phone that has a fully cracked screen and is basically as far as you can get in terms of recent phones to modern smart phones.
Thanks for the info. I got friends who use one and some that use the other. I don't think I'll be looking for anything too fancy for a first phone though.
Several are, yes. What I meant was that the iPhone app store has access to a wider selection of quality titles.
If only that were true... the iPhone app store has two problems. 1: The infamous Apple Licensing Agreement. You own no apps. You are licensed to use them and may use them at any moment, should Apple so choose. 2: Apple allows no apps outside the app store, so you do not have to look. If you check on SEVERAL sites, you can find much more. 3: It's a phone. It takes calls. Why do you need anything else from it? As for my phone... That's right. I own a Nokia 3310. And it is indestructible.
I'm just going to say it: HD video file of My Little Pony + Samsung Galaxy Note with brightness turned up all the way = It almost looked sharper than on my PC. I felt like I'd been transported anew to the magical land of talking ponies we all know and love.
