[HR][/HR]Radio Verification [HR][/HR]At long, long last we have a verified livestream channel hosting Everypony Radio once more! What does this mean? Unlimited viewers, some stuff and other stuff, did I mention unlimited viewers already? And while this is a cause for much rejoicing, a few thank yous are in order, firstly to all the loyal viewers who stuck with us through the lack of DJ's, viewer cap and general mess (thank you SO SO much!) and of course to all the DJ's and staff who put up with the restless chat, reuploaded the entire archive and fought against Livestream for what seemed an eternity without ever losing faith or hope, when sometimes even I did! http://cyb3rwaste.deviantart.com Two particularly deserving DJ's - Flash and Viperbait respectively have been issued awards (what better way to test out the system?) you can find details of each one on the tabs in their profile - They're well deserved chaps, wear them with pride! Now that we're verified keep an eye out for some extremely ambitious stuff and be sure to tune in because our new #1 goal is to involve you guys, the audience! [HR][/HR]With Ridicule comes Rank [promotion] [HR][/HR] This is old news really, but I'll recap anyway. As some will know and others may have missed: Derpy Hooves has now joined me and Jaret as an admin of Everypony.com - He'll be helping out with general administration tasks so feel free to bug him (not me) with anything you feel deserves his much valued attention! And why? He's been here from the very start of Everypony.com - Has a level head, is smart, disciplinary but cautious and respectful all at the time, he's done me proud so far and I'm sure he'll continue to do so! On the other hand, Foxytail is also moving up the (ranks?) and will be taking on a new duty alongside his or (her?) DJing. Say hello to your new Community/Relations/Manager person - For here at Everypony - Where Everypony is somepony, we believe the general users require our upmost attention and should benefit from the best of our interest so if at any time you feel you've been mistreated and/or wronged - Or perhaps you're just feeling down, either way just drop Foxy a PM and he/she'll be more than happy to get back to you with some reassurance and/or solutions to any problems! [HR][/HR]EPR [MEDIA] [HR][/HR]A lot of you will have noticed the new navbar link and the thread I posted about this new section a week or so back, it's essentially a replacement for the EPR Media List in google docs and will feature an archive of all EPR's (Everypony Radio's) music/tracks and artists - Here you'll be able to rate, comment on and search for tracks - Subscribe to artists and even submit your own stuff - Which if approved will be added to the radio playlists and request line! We've a few things to finish up yet, namely populating the database with our current archive and uploading some recent material (we've admittedly fallen behind a little during our LS trouble period) but I'll go ahead and say you'll be seeing it before the end of August or in early September at the very latest (assuming no other bugs or problems come to light)!. [HR][/HR]Downloads is Down! [HR][/HR]Not too long ago I started up a thread about removing the downloads section from the service list at Everypony.com - Ironically - Despite everypony seemingly wanting to keep it, something in the new versions of Vbulletin seems to have rendered it rather.. crippled. In attempts to fix it we actually lost the entire archive setup and to further frustration the bug remains at large - preventing new material from being uploaded! We will continue to try and get the section back up and running but my own hopes aren't high right now and naturally my attention is more focussed on EPR Media - But we'll see - We'll see - If there was anything in particular people wanted off the archive do let me know, I have the files - They're just not connected to the system. Many apologies and I do promise this is merely coincidence not a master plan/ploy to get rid of the downloads section (why would I do that!?)! [HR][/HR]Terraria Giveaway - Judging underway! [HR][/HR]The deadline is almost over, by the time most of you read this judging will most likely be under way! As planned the DJ's will whittle down a few of the entries and then we'll slap the favourites up on a public poll and get you guys to vote over a small period of time on who you think deserves a copy of the hit game Terraria (courtesy of Strawberry Spice @ Equestriagaming.com!). [HR][/HR]Radio Broadcasts are GO! [HR][/HR] As promised a while back, we're finally hosting scheduled live broadcasts where DJ's and special guests will run live talk shows revolving around the listeners. So far we have; Oatmeal and Viperbait Every Tuesday @ 8PM Central Foxytail and Flash Every OTHER Friday @5PM Eastern Standard Time All broadcasts will be featured in the calendar adjacent to the radio so you'll be hard pressed to miss em' (one would hope!). Be sure to join the Floxy crew a week tomorrow (the 2nd) as they talk to the (in)famous Silvahound! - Note the broadcasts are in addition to our irregular 'live-request' sessions and other DJ teams will be starting up their own shows very shortly! Great news and thanks for the award! It's much appreciated! And yeah to shout it out again, Foxy and I will be interviewing the famous SilvaHound. He'll be joining us in our biweekly broadcast "Friday Night with Foxy & Flash" on September 2nd 5pm eastern time. Be sure to tune in! Oh and of course congratz to Foxy for the promotion! This forum's turning more into a business every day with all the rank-pushing and award-giving that's going on. Time to fight for my respect, methinks, and that starts with maintaining a level-headedness around everypony, including the ones I'm most uncomfortable around. At the minute, that stands at one. Going good so far. Well, I have a tall mountain to climb, seeing as though I've fallen down so far. So, off I go!
Awards? I'm not even gonna bother. Cus thats what I do now I don't bother. What I enjoy doing is exploding small things out of control for example I dont bother doing projects any more and I also try no not bother ponies too much, I also don't bother attempting to end arguments when I belive I am on top._____________________Invisible text! Awesome to see a 4th news posting! I wonder how many we can get up to before Season 2? I'm going to say... eight. That's my official prediction. Ooh, and now I have more ponies to harass with issues other than Grey! You get your reprieve Grey... for now. Congratulations to both Flash and Viperbait on the well deserved awards! Keep being awesome, you two! Congratulations again to Derpy Hooves on their new admin status. Early congratulations to Foxytail before they inevitably get something to. I need to go investigate this new media program Grey talked about. Also, I'm excited to see what other new ideas are going to be implemented in the future! Interaction with the audience beyond what there already is? Do I detect a potential for podcasts?
