So I thought I'd post a thread about this because I'm super excited :3 Here's the deal, long before I ever became a brony, and even before Friendship is Magic existed, I've played Magic: The Gathering (for anypony who doesn't know, MtG is the grandfather of all trading card games, started back in 1993), and for a good while now I've been a card alter'er. Basically this means that I take magic cards and paint directly onto them, altering the art on the card, to make the card personal for the person using it. Altered cards are a way for a person to pimp out and make their decks really theirs. So on this wonderful night I had the greatest idea. I'm going to merge my love of children's card games, children's adorable ponies, art, and my infinite love for all three. I shall paint ponies on Magic cards and share them with all of my new friends on Everypony :'D I would like to show you some examples of pony alters done by other artists, as well as the concept and WIPs of my very first MLP alter. I was never good at drawing, so doing character alters like this always turns out bad for me unless i really spend days getting it right ._.
The Lyra one is of coarse my favorite and I laughed at the Pinkie Pie one. I tried playing before, but it just wasn't for me I guess.
