Everyone should have a gun for protection. A simple 9mm pistol should be allowed for all households to own for protection purposes. You never know when someone will break in and threaten your whole family.
My opinion: Guns are fine......a hand gun for personal safety. No one needs an armory full of guns and ammo. Then again, my opinion may be skewed because I don't understand shooting for sport and I hate guns of all types. Just my opinion though!
This, even I agree with this. Sure I'm planning on owning several guns (a pistol, a shotgun, a hunting rifle, and a range rifle) no one should have more than say ten guns, at the most. And also, most gun crimes are committed with pistols for very obvious reasons, they are light, cheap, fast draw, good for close quarters, easily concealed (A law break on it's own), and cheap ammo. But also, guns are a double-edged sword for the shooter. Every gun shoots a different way, and every gun is shot and documented before someone recieved said gun. So, even if the criminal ditches the gun in some god-forsaken place, they will still be knockin at your door.
See, in my opinion, ten is going way overboard. I can understand the pistol and the rifles, but not the shotgun (trap shooting?). I far from an expert on guns, though. They scare me. :3
My family owns a gunshop, so i guess you could say guns are in my blood. I don't think the government should have any right to take away my guns. Stupid people kill people not guns.
Shotguns are actually highly versatile, everything from skeet shooting to taking down large game(Bears, elk, etc.) to duck hunting. I will admit, I have my own bias on this, as my family has a very close relationship to guns. (Grandfather was in the army, father was once a competitive shooter, once got 395/400 skeets in a continuous shooting match, was once a gun-instructor for and is a lifetime member of the NRA. We currently own 6 guns.)
Cool, nothing for me to speak out against as long as everyone is being responsible. Just don't bring them near me, I might freak out. >.<
Can I said this and nobody will get mad at me . I don't care about your rights I should not be scare to go to moves because someone wants play Hero And have the gun go off in the movie theaters. I like going to the movies I don't mind you owning a gun but you should be ask if you have one and is it on safety is on before you go in . And I think they should not be allow in to Bars. They do not next well . Sorry if I made you mad .
You sound like my stepmom. She hates guns, she just deals with my dad's 6 guns, well, because she has to.
You also got to remember, compared to the number of gun-ownership in the United States, and the number of these shootings, it is surprisingly sparse. But also with the huge numbers, it also drives up the likelyhood of said events. Sorta like car crashes. Though they are miniscle compared to the number of cars on the road, they happen because again there's so many cars!
Hanging out at a donut shop is better then assaulting people for no reason. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
My neighborhood is a run down crime nest. We NEED a gun to keep the freaks out. I think cops only attack IF the suspect attacks first.
Hahahahahahaha yeah, that's their excuse half the time. Like at those peaceful protests. Oh no watch out for that sign, I better tackle him to the ground and smash his skull into the ground a few time. ~Video removed~ -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Not when they threaten the people that record it. It's easy for a cop to do. If you don't comply then they claim you are resisting. Then while you're cuffed they destroy the recorded evidence anyway and probably give you a few punches for fun. Might as well, they get away with it. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
