Unsurprising. Anyway, given the choice I have, I'd go with Obama. I really liked Ron Paul, but unfortunately he never had a chance in hell because he's not a Republican talking point machine.
Yea, the GOP even went as far as changing the rules at the Convention to prevent Ron Paul from speaking despite gaining enough delegates for a 15 minute speech and a possibility for nomination. - - Auto Merge - - On the note of rebellion, I have a feeling that if America continues down the path its going, Texas will secede. There's already plenty of murmuring about it.
I'd pay all the money I have to keep from doing that. Sorry. I can't say it. Rules stop me from saying. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Nothing wrong with Texan? Or maybe I'm just saying that because I've been thinking Texan for as long as I can remember. And does it have to do with nukes? I don't know why I think that, and I don't think that would be blocked by the rules unless it was meant in mass-murder. - - Auto Merge - - See that nice brick wall right there? There you go, you just saved your life.
I can't vote yet, but if I could I wouldn't anyways. I feel as though it doesn't matter who wins and America is going to go down anyways. The important things will always stay the same either way: We'll still be fighting our silly war on drugs, we'll still be in stupid conflicts somewhere in the Middle East, and we'll continue to have our first and forth amendment rights trampled upon. America will still be in decline, and I just can't bring myself to believe that either Romney or Obama can fix it.
Obama hasn't done much and Biden spouts too much idiotic drivel, but I'd rather take them than Romney/Ryan. I watched a bit of the Republican Convention and I just couldn't take the overall feeling of smugness when they were talking to each other. Plus, their stance on anything LGBT-related and that rape comment infuriates me. :\ Oh, and Ryan's freaky eyes scare me. They look like they can pierce through a steel wall.
For sure. I wanted Ron Paul to win the Republican Primary, but I didn't really think he had a chance. Here, here! Some of those politician's stances on rape just drive me up the wall.
It's times like this I'm glad I don't live in America. Obama might not be perfect, but he's a lot more reasonable than any Republican who wants to turn America in the Bible V2.
