I was wondering, just how did you guys come up with your username? Pixel - It kinda of came from my love of video games. Hope - Came from the whole story about shyness, I'm sure most of you read that. It is also my favorite emotion in the emotional spectrum.
Interesting, I was thinking of asking this at one point. Lupr is the username I use for everything (unless it's unavailable). It's a portmanteau of my first name, Luke, and my second name, which begins with Pr. However, I wanted to relate my username here to relate to ponies, so I decided to incorporate the word 'pony' into it. Thinking about it, I do kind of wish I'd have gone with Lupr, but hey, it is what it is.
I used to go as DanZ Then I went as DanSZ, middle name included. Then touhou fandom has a character that ends sentances in ze. This is supposed to be manly. Marisa. She is pretty manly. Fav character for a while, so I added ze for lulz into my name. DanSZe Then I decided that the capital Z should be lowercase. DanSze And then I got into ponies. I stayed DanSze. But I was Kaminalestia so it works.
interesting question. I use Yeti everywhere on internet. It all started back in 2005. I was member of Jeti snowboard club, and, well club was about to break apart. At the time, I joined boarder-zone.net, snowboarding portal/forum. I needed some username and at the time I found out I'll need eventually dynamic email sooner or later. so, I was thinking, well, Yeti doesn't sound bad, it's simple, known, an rear (also there's snowboarding "story" that Yeti spends his time riding backcountry snowboarding in Himalayas (it's not true of course ,but it's cool story). anyway, I tried to make new mail "yeti.snowboard@something.something", and it was available. So I joined Boarder-zone.net as Yeti (where I'm mod now) and name just sicked. In mean time, Jeti snowboard club felt apart, then I was one year nowhere, then now I'm in B-Zona snowboard club, which now also owns boarder-zone.net. Jeti was rebuild last year, but I'm still Yeti with Y. also elsewhere on internet I'm Yeti. (Yetione came because of 5 character minimum here, and I have graffiti background so Yetione was next choice)
Affection was a username I used a long time ago for an online game. I got really good at it until the game was shut down. It was long ago so I don't know what it was called. I thought Affection would fit perfectly here so, there's how my username came to be!

Well, mine's somewhat hereditary, too... I use "Thanatar" on most games I play... and on sites as well. Sometimes I use "Anthanatar", if Thanatar's in use. (My first name's Anselm) My dad uses Thanatos the Loonie on forums... and Thanatar's derived from that. So I guess I'm the son of the death god...
Hmm, well, I don't like my real name - not because its something awful, difficult to pronounce, or weird; in fact, it's very normal. Too normal. Also, I'm a junior, and me and my father don't get along - heck, we're nothing alike. In fact, when my friends meet my family, they always ask, "So were you adopted?" Well, maybe not always . . . Any ways, about fifteen years ago, I decided to make a break, and change my name. After some thoughtful searching, I cobbled together the name Dante Wynter, and found I really liked it. Winter used to be my favorite season, before I moved to some place with a winter that lasted nine months, and Dante hearkens to my interest in classical writing - The Divine Comedia, if anyone besides me has read it. I put the "y" in winter just to make it a bit unique, and stand out a little. I use Dante for all my internet use, and is my pen name. Someday, I actually hope to legally change it. I was asked once if my Dante Wynter persona had a middle name, and I hadn't given it any thought until then. I decided my full name to be Dante Virgil Wynter. If you've read The Inferno, you'll know why. My, my. Long winded answer for such a simple question.
Believe it or not, I chose my name because of a very personal reason. School was quite tough for me. I was angry and bitter most of the time for various reasons. One day, a friend showed me a little quiz to find out what was your element. I answered the questions and I ended up with fire. It suited me. Fire was destructive and full of rage, like I was. Fast forward a few years to when I was on Winter Break. I was vacationing on my home island in the Carribean, visiting family. We went to many places, including the top of a mountain which was one of the tallest points on the island. The view was glorious, I could see all the way down to the beaches and the sea. I was thinking a lot about stuff when the wind started to blow. It was so refreshing and it brought the smell of the sea all the way up to the mountains. I though about how the wind was so renewing and how it was always changing. I had already promised myself I wasn't going to be the same angry person I was years back. I remembered that quiz I took and I decided that the wind was a better element for me, not a raging fire. I did some research on wind later and I came across the term Zephyr....I loved it. True story....
The story behind mine isn't really that complicated. The name itself is just a pun on the word "eponymous." I was actually surprised that no one even thought of it yet. I mean, it seems kinda obvious when you think about it... eponymous. The word "pony" is right in there. I couldn't think of any other pony-related names as I'm not into the whole OC/ponysona thing, and I'm never keen on using a character's name, because then it may give off the impression that I'm roleplaying as the character, and I don't roleplay. I also didn't want to use the name I normally use, as it's not pony-related. So, I figured, why not just have the word "eponymous" and put some emphasis on the "pony" part by capitalizing it. Hence, that's why I'm known on here as ePONYmous, or you can just call me ePONY (pronounced e-pony, NOT eh-pon-nee). I rather like that nickname. So, despite my username, I do not intend to give my name to something, or to have something named after me. I'm not that cocky. Interesting fact: My name is not pronounced "eponymous" like you would normally say it. It's NOT eh-pon-uh-muhs. It's pronounced e-pony-muhs. See the difference? The only time this would ever be useful is if I met one of you IRL and you addressed me by my username, or if a DJ in EPR mentions my name while on the air. My name was mentioned once on the air so far, and, to my surprise, whoever said it (I think it was Flash, but I could be wrong about that), I believe pronounced it e-pony-muhs. Unless I somehow unintentionally convinced myself that I heard it that way. Either way, there you go.
You should know exactly why I chose this name. Well technically you can't...but yeah I decided to mix Double Rainbow with Rainbow Dash. There ya go.

Well there's not much to say. It all started back in the summer, and I was obsessed with the Slenderman legends. After I hopped on board with the Bronys I knew exactly what had to happen. I knew I must combine these two obsessions of mine together as SlenderPony? No doesn't roll of the tongue very well. SlenderMare? Nah I'm not a girl. SlenderMane! Now there's a good name for me.
ME..... Im choice this name because represent my Favorite game of all: Kingdom Hearts, Sora is the name of the Main character. I love the game since the first episode!!, the incredible idea of fuse Final Fantasy whit Disney sounds weird yes, but the game play is incredible and the story........Epic!!!!. and also the name Zora actually I liked it, the difference is that the original name is whit "S" no "Z", but I changed it because to me looks better whit "Z" XD. I add the word "heart" just because sound nice to me, and also represent someting personal: "I have a heart to share whit you when you need me" XD, I make that prhase haha. Anyway Kingdom Heart was whit me before MLP FisMagic exist, and now, My Little Pony and KH are my most big likes.Also I have a little Dream: make a Fanfic that fuse Kingdom Heart whit My Little Pony (just the principal characters of KH, Sora, Goofy and Donald in the world of MLP), but, Im not a Writter, and is sure that if write something, never gonna be good XD. Well, 'Its_Auto' is the username i use for *everything* whenever i can. It all started *years* ago in yahoo chat... i used to browse and room hop frequently until i found interesting people/conversation (not really by room name/topic) and one room that i made a lot of friends in at the time was the 'Xena Warrior Princess' room (i know, im showing my age now, haha - yahoo deleted that room decades ago). being a bit of a Bruce Campbell fanboy, i made an autolycus_king_of_thieves2000 username (yes, it was 11 years ago...its scary to think that!) - the thing was, around the chat rooms, not many peeople knew how to pronounce autolycus (Aw-tollik-us) so many simply called me 'Auto' in chat...and despite my gazillions of usernames, over the years, Auto is still what everyone calls me.. it just kinda stuck....so all my email addresses, videogame accounts, chat names, usernames etc for quite some years have been 'Its_Auto' (i always add the "Its" as its sorta my thing now, LOL. In fact, i dare say theres still more people call me Auto in the world then there is people call me by my real name! (Which, if anyone is wondering, is Jonathan; although the only people who call me that are family and work collegues - most friends call me by my surname, Burnett (or the lads simply call me Burney) yet very few of em know where Auto came from in the first place, lolz.
