Here's some more: All men want is sex, I'm fine with cuddling. Gamers are Lazy, I work harder than my non-gamer brother. White guys can't dance....well you have me there. And Calvin you live in Scottland? Thats awesome I've always wanted to go.
Why does everyone think Scotland is awesome? I suppose that's another stereotype in itself, but at least it's a positive one. But seriously, we have very little of interest to see (especially where I live). Main letdown is the rain, y'see.
Let's see, I don't really approve of sterotypes, but here's a few I've noticed following me around: 1. British people have bad teeth 2. I sit in my parlour drinking cups of tea all day... 3. ....whilst watching the cricket 4. Harry Potter is of course an accurate representation of what England's like 5. How ya doin' guv'na, shine ya shoes for a shilling? 6. My my, I hope I didn't leave my bowler hat at home again 7. I wonder what the weather's like toda- oh it's rain. I shouldn't be surprised seeing as that's all we get here 8. The whole country is like London 9. I wonder what's for dinner toni- oh it's fish and chips. Again.
Yep. I live on a main road with a 50mph blind corner right next to my house, and the corner is full of potholes and the council thought they would spend the money sticking up a sign outside my house saying 'Welcome to Aberdeenshire' rather than fixing the potholes. EDIT: Please excuse me if my posts are coming through thick and fast, or not coming through at all, my iPod is acting up ever since I visited EP on safari...
Croatia, so little, so divided by stereotypes inside country, so let's start: Dalmatians (South Croatia): Laziest people on planet. Slavonians (East Croatia): Diet: Alcohol and pork Zagorci (North Croatia): No schools, and alcoholics Istians (West Croatia): Goats, and sheepherders. Zagreb City area: Hooligans and celebrities Dubrovnik City area: Rich Lika and Gorski Kotar (Central Croatia): Bears, no people there.
I guess everywhere has the locational stereotypes. Croatia has parts that sound alot like places in the U.S.
As you know, Great Britain is made up of four countries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Here are the stereotypes: - The Welsh have intercourse with sheep - The Irish are constantly drunk - The Scottish are angry and miserable - And England has many different kinds of tribes (scouse, cockney, etc.) each with there own stereotype
Well, most of the clothes I wear are black or grey. Its not that I hate color, its more that I'm comfortable with non-showy clothes. So they think I'm a boy, or I'm goth, or whatever. Oh well. I'm also lactose free, so people think that I'm nerdy, or die when I eat. (my stomach hurts) And I live in Ohio, so I'm a stick in the mud.
Maybe so, but Calvin and Hobbes never seemed to go any farther then their woods most of the time in their adventures. So, who gets the fuzzy suit?
I don't think Maryland has a stereotype. I mean we got crabs and that's about it. We're just that one state. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
I don´t know about stereotypes. but I met blonde girls who are really stupid and that think they´re the best person inthe world and tht everybody else should be like them.
