    yeah well i dont' liek gravity much either, but I put up with it because it happens whether I care or not and I have no choice.


    In any case back to the topic, how do you feel about Bonbon and Lyra as a couple?

    I LOVE Bon Bon and Lyra as a couple! They have the most adorable shipping pics/fics. And as far as clop goes, to each his/her own, I say. I'm a supporter of it; its a natural thing, and if you don't like it, turn away or something. Anyways, I wonder what kind of relationship they'd have. Would they have cute little tiffs?

    I'm not too much for shipping, but Lyra X BonBon is one of the few I like. That, Doctor Whooves X Derpy, and Cheerilee X Big Macintosh. They're the most normal sounding couples to be honest...

    Well just saying that if Bon-Bon and Lyra were to be a lesbian there would be a huge outburst from conservative groups and etc.
    Basically MLP:FiM would lose a good portion of it's child fan-base due to parents not wanting their children to watch it
    which in my opinion is extreme

    Anyways the fanon for Lyra and Bon-Bon would be absolute hilarious

    I think pony shippings can be pretty ****ing adorable, but people can act far to analytical over the main show. While children may only view Bon Bon and Lyra's friendship as such, adults delve too deep into it; and besides, how much are children going to concentrate on background ponies other than noticing now neat some of them look and pointing out Derpy's eyes?

    I agree that showing them as a couple would cause major exposions in the fandom and in the minds of conservatives but I personally wouldn't care. xD Why shelter people from the real world? Why should we 'censor' people. I think that if a hetrosexual couple can be shown, then so can a lesbian or gay couple. We're all just people, right? Regardless of what others have against the idea, I always thought of them as being lesbian. xD

    If viewers complained about Derpy's eye being wonky, I'm pretty sure they'll complain about lesbians. While most of us don't care, there are a few that do. And I don't think Hasbro will take anymore risks after the Derpy incident.

    In the show, this is true. However, the LyraxBonBon ship is practically fanon. Most people who accept shipping will also accept this ship. I haven't met anyone who thinks otherwise.

    But it's only fanon, not canon.
