Yup, there's a common stereotype. The annoying/best part of stereotypes is that they are actually somewhat true.

I dislike stupid people in general (well people who lack common sense). I just ignore everything that annoys me so I don't get too worked up.

So these were the basics I mentioned earlier, but if you're going to delve into the different sub-sections of British culture stereotypes, we also have:

    The Potters/The Stokies -

Now I myself am a Potter/Stokie, as I live in Stoke-On-Trent in England, also known as "The Potteries" for all the ceramic work and factories that were based around this area. So I can confirm the stereotype that a lot of people around here tend to be aggressive and for the most part, quite firm believers of stereotypes, especially the football fans in this area. The city I live in tends to be full of the lower class housing i.e. the old tenements for the factory workers etc, however I do live in the countryside in a village as opposed to the centre of the city. It tends to be a very multi-cultural area with a lot of people from other origins outside of Britain, which has affirmed a strong sense of racism for most people around here because they're scared that these people will take British jobs. I myself find that quite appalling, and want to get out of this city as soon as possible.

    The Scousers -

A stereotype surrounds these people (centred in Liverpool mostly I think) that they will steal your car radios and sell them off. Being a Liverpool FC fan and having a father who works there, I've been there a couple of times, and it must be an old stereotype or something because the city seems quite nice, although I don't know what goes on every day to be fair.

    The Yorkshire Accent -

It is commonly stereotyped that instead of using the word "the" in a sentence, people in Yorkshire will say "t'" and shorten various words. e.g. If one was to make a satire of what a Yorkshire person might sound like, it would be something like this:

"Put t'kettle on luv, and make an 'otpot while yar at it"

I don't know if this is true, it's just a stereotype.

    The Cockneys -
I don't really know much about the stereotypes for the Cockney people, so you'll have to look that one up yourself :derpe:

The main city is very, very nice. It's places like Ormskirk and Birkenhead that surround are the ones you need to watch your wallet. Yes, the "scouse" accent is from the City but it has spread around to everywhere nearby. The city is lovely, but some of the neighbours aren't.

    I'm a neighbour XD
