He said he'd get them out in 4 years, all our soldiers aren't back yet. I hate any politician because they can't make a promise they can't keep. Sure soldiers got pulled out but there are still people out there and it's been 4 years. I hate democrats and republicans a like for this very reason. They might be able to make a promise and work on it but they promise way too much - or they lie. Pretty much both, really. But that doesn't make up for our national debt increasing, which I'm sure EVERY president will contribute to that these days. You guys are against republicans, I understand why. Trust me, I hate my own religion more then anything because of the people that blow it way out of proportion. I have my beliefs, but I have my beliefs outside those beliefs as well. Open minded to an extent, I guess you could say. That being said... both candidates suck. They'd get my love and support if they would 1. leave religion alone and out of this, 2. keep to small promise then say they'll TRY to build on it, cause let's face it make a promise to big you're going to turn into a bit of a liar, 3. work on their CAMPAIGN instead of working on digging up dirt on people. And i don't mean a and/or of these things I want them ALL. But that's a perfect world, a perfect nation. Have I mentioned I hate my own country?
In all honesty I am a libertarian. The party holds all of the main american ideals. That being said i'm voting Rom this time. Though his choice of VP was poor. If Romney would have choose Condoleezza Rice the republican ticket would have been much better. For me it just comes down to the basic fact of the economy. Obama with a majority democratic congress managed to just add debt. I'd say give someone else a chance. No one ever seems to be happy with a two term pres. So lets see what Mitt can do. If he fails just vote in the next person. Pretty much everyone in the US is poorly educated about the candidates. The main cause of that being all and any news station crazy bias and blatantly lying about everything. Thats just my stance on it. Ill also just add in that all of these things like abortion, gay marriage, and pot, While they say they are super important, do you really think any candidate will care after they are elected? They always fade away until the next election needs something controversial to argue about. Cool thing about libertarians is their stance on all three. Which is basically, Pro choice/ Gay marriage is fine (let them suffer like the rest of us xD)/ and smoke it.
How many of us voted in the primaries? How many of you are old enough to vote and are in the US anyways? Just asking. Also, you may find this website useful to check things before spouting off talking points. http://www.politifact.com/ All this election cycle has done is make me sad. We do not have any good politicians anymore, we only have people who are good at running campaigns and getting elected. [/cynicism] Oh and since I can right now, **** politics.
