actually the first episode i ever watched was the first cmc episode and i was like ...meh this isnt bad but i went on to see the first episode it was pretty interesting and by the 3rd episode i was hooked
Whilst watching the intro, I was thinking "How can grown men love this?". But I knew that the fanbase was huge, so I decided to look over that. After watching the first 2 episodes, I thought "That was suprisingly bareable. But since the antagonist is destroyed, what will the next episodes be about. Before I knew it, I was on episode 11.
I was like 'It alright, not too much to fuss about though' And then that same night I watched the whole first season. Yeah in the end I was like 'Need season two! But, I need sleep, fine tomorrow is season two!'
At first, I flinched at the story of mare in the moon. Then I flinched again during the theme song. But then I didn't flinch during the rest of the episode. But I continued to hate the theme song until about episode 9 or something.
Well, it all began about a year ago. I stumbled over some Pony-Images on a forum about self-made-videogames. My first reaction was:"Well, I know that. People posting pictures of things that are funny to them. This will stop in the not so distant future." But in my heart, or somewhere in my brain, dunno, I recognized a little smile while I was looking at this picture of Pinkie Pie and FlutterShy (Scene: Here!). And yet the other day, another Pinkie Pie video! ("This may look fun, but it`s not!") I followed the videolink and started wondering: ´Where do all these comments come from? What are these creatures from? And what the heck are "Bronys"?` I decided to simply let go, but, as it is always with good things, I came back and typed "my little pony friendship is magic episode 1" (Didn`t know there were already two seasons). I watched. I enjoyed. Than, the same that happened to some of us happened to me too. "Just one more episode..." were my last words as a non-Brony. Only a week later, I discovered all the wonderful things Bronys do. Music, art, videos, story writing... So, yeah. Thats my story. A story full of nostalgic joy. Good times, good times. See y`all around! */)* Greetings
I was thinking "Must press on" and around the end of episode 2 i was in. Dont know quite what it is i like about the show, just has some special quality to it.
I saw the show mentioned in a vague webcomic. Thought it must have been good. Went into it with an open mind. Found it enjoyable, yet thought the end of the second episode was cheesy.
At first viewing, I thought it was ok. After that, a graph of my enjoyment of the show could be described as:
I can't really answer this question since i spent about a month watching clips and fan-made stuff before actually watching an episode. I was already used to it.
I did not think it was that amazing but I knew that it wasn't going to be like the previous editions of My Little Pony and there was likely to be humour that I would find funny and that. I knew that it would somehow pick up later on and I believe I was correct in thinking that. Quite the show.
I thought it was pretty dumb, still do, but not dumb enough to poke fun of, like the previous generations. It's quite pilot-esque in my opinion, but one should never judge a series by its pilot.
I was surprised at how good Friendship is Magic was compared to all the other shows and movies I heard about but never watched do to hearing how bad and girly all the other shows were, it also had that I started off with a very funny episode. Party of One was the very first episode I ever saw last summer.
It had me at Pinky's song. I loved it, but I didn't actually start watching the show until a month or two afterwards.
The first one I watched was Putting your hoof down. I mean, can you blame me for being a complete brony? IT HAD FLUTTERSHY IN IT.
The first time i decided to watch MLP, I started watching the first 2 minutes, and the first think I tought was: What a stupid cartoon for dumbs. after 2 days, I got annoyed and I decided to give a try again, this time i watched 2 episodes. and then i thought: Meh, it surely looks fun. Then I started to watch all episoded, and my final thought was: OH GOD THIS IS AWESOME (Followed up by an Awkward moment.) And that's how I decided to be a fan of MLP.
MLP was actually almost killed for me by the slumber party one. I cannot stand anything truly girly (Don't say a freaking word!), which is one of the reasons I don't watch the Rarity episodes. In fact, I've yet to actually, fully watch the one where she is in Canterlot.
