    From what I've heard and seen, people who recently graduated are having a very difficult time finding a job in their field. My friend has a bachelors degree and is a server at a restaurant. To me it seems like a waste of time and money.....for now.

    It didn't help me get a job, but then I got a 2-year degree in a foreign language that doesn't have much use in Georgia. It was worth it, though. College was the best time of my life. Lots of cool friends and learning so many interesting things.

    I got a scholarship that paid for tuition, though, so it's not like everyone can do it and afford it...

    I got 0 scholarships and family support. I had to take out loans and pay for it myself.:cry: If it was free, I would go back even if I am stupid.

    College does actually help, but from what I understand, it's more a long-term thing. Like you aren't going to get the job you got a degree for the moment right out of college, but it does open it up for you, a door that otherwise be closed. If it wasn't for college, my dad wouldn't be a IT director and making a large enough income to be in the top 1.5% of earners in the US.
