My word that sounds awful! I would personally despise having to put up with large spiders. I can't complain here, we get the odd chunker, but most of them are little. They do have a useful function, which is capturing and killing annoying flying insects, but in all honesty, if you wanted rid of them all you need to do is spray them with pesticide. I have no sympathy for any spider that trespasses into our house. They face Imminent destruction.

 

We would poison them with lysol when we saw them. They're even worse when they're squirming around, but at least they die. Luckily I had the most sealed up room in the entire house. I lived there for 10 months and only got about 5 or 6 spiders in there and 1 scorpion. Every night I blocked the bottom of my door so they couldn't get in and if I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I would hold it in. One of the worst times was when I was going to take a bath and when I was in the tub a huge spider fell in with me from between the shower curtains. I absolutely flipped out and ripped the curtains down along with the pole and flew out of that bathroom.

That...sounds like my personal Hell. :I I have a strange irrational fear of scorpions ever since I played Fallout 3, no matter how unirradated and small they are, they creep me the heck out. If that would have been me in your situation, I would have screamed loud enough to wake the dead and go on a killing rampage (towards the spider of course) Or just get out of the bath and hope that it drowns so I wouldn't have to look at it. *shudders* Spiders are a nasty topic to discuss, but I find scaring myself sometimes quite thrilling, like point and click adventure games...

Exmortis had me sleep with the lights on for weeks. :I

 

I kill insects for fun.

 

FUTURE SERIAL KILLER!!!! Just kidding, but I honestly would not be surprised if you did end up being one, just one day someone pushing you over that edge of no return...
