Yeah, I don't see much use of a separate consciousness for me anyway. :p

I too was a bit reluctant when I was first introduced to the subject. Then I did some thinking. Well, a lot of thinking, and decided just to go for it.

All I can say is that, to me, doing this feels like something natural. Not wrong, or harmful.

Well, there are different schools of thought regarding what making a tulpa actually means, basically you are creating another consciousness within your mind that is derived from your own subconscious mind.

So a little bit of both, kinda.

That's only the psychological school of thought, there is also the metaphysical, but I'm not of that camp so I can't really say what different theories they have. But I know there is definitely more than one, probably a good half dozen.

I've been watching this thread for a while and see a few people who've said they'd try it out. After a period of inactivity, I wonder how everyones progress is doing?

    I've stayed out of it.
Thankfully. I don't like the idea of a Tulpa.

We're coming along. April is sentient but not vocal yet. Well, we communicate a bit but it's mostly by feels/vibes. Hard to explain.

I've made quite significant progress, Snow ain't quite on my vision yet, but that should be soon. I've also mastered the art of switching places with her, well, not really mastered as I've only been doing it for about 3-4 days now... And Snow and I have recently gotten in a big arguement and she's been a little more... reclusive since.justignorehim

GAH, I hate it when she does that! Sometimes I regret some of the agreements I've made with her...

Yea, I know. We argue about SOMETHING at least once a day, oh and I am slowly but surely moving Snow from my peripheral to my full vision, finally got visualization down for the most part.

    Waaaaat.
Sounds like voluntary schizophrenia. :ahh: Except not insane.

I don't dislike the idea. In fact, I talk with myself all the time. Maybe I already have a Tulpa and didn't even know it...

Yeah, that's both cool and slightly disturbing...

I think I have been in this thread before. Have I?

In any case, if talking with myself counts as having a Tulpa (which I doubt that it does), then really it only talks when I'm trying to solve a problem or dealing with a crisis. Which, come to think of it, sounds a bit like me...

    Maybe I'm just being placebo-ed, though. :/

Your likely being placebo-ed. I know pretty well now (Have for a while) that I actually have a tulpa (Which she hates being called)

Anyways, have a little progress report; doing extremely well, but still can't quite do full visualization yet. I can feel my tulpa (Snow in case any of you forgot) as if she was a real object, just not solid, I can also hear her in my actual hearing, so yea.

It's been quite awhile since anyone has posted here so I decided to check up on everyone's progress, if you don't mind.

For me, I finished Snow quite some time ago, and then I suddenly found out Snow had made her own tulpa (it was more of an adaption of a voice that I used to talk to before Snow and gave it a form, new voice and personality. So yea, I have two complete tulpas now. What about you guys?

I am nowhere close to that.

Since I was forced to stop my progress with Sips by school, I haven't really had much of a chance to start it up again. During this Thanksgiving break, I'm going to try and start it back up again (or start over, depends on how much Sips has deteriorated.)

With luck, I can get a tulpa going again.

Too dangerous for me to try. Schizophrenia is already annoying. I don't need more insanity.

I'm going at a snail's pace, but still going. April started talking awhile ago, albeit not much. I haven't been working with her as much as I should have.

Snow's made some pretty awesome progress I see. Good job mate.
