Greeting and salutations! We are Princess Luna, and we shall be thy...Mistress of Ceremonies for this Outside of Thy Character forum. Thy creator of this Role Playing Performance has requested that I give unto thee a few simple ground rules. Very well, Our edicts shall be as thus: Article the First: Read and obey the General Roleplaying Guidelines, specifically as they pertain to Character Balance. This is especially important as this game has quite a bit more rules in general than thy average "free of form" roleplaying performance. Article the Second: The word of thy Master of Games is Law. Ultimately, the Master of Games has the final say in anything that happens within the roleplaying performance. He is a kind and just Master of Games, so if anypony shall have any issues, he wishes that they will be brought up within this Out of Thy Character forum. In certain cases, he may be convinced to convert his Benevolent Dictatorship into a Democracy should the need arise. Article the Third: All actors should be able to (and are expected to)..."post" at least once per day. We understand that there are those among us who cannot "post" when everypony else does. Thy Master of Games will await every character to post (or 36 hours, whichever may come first) before posting any replies or dice rolls. Article the Fourth: Have copious amounts of the "fun". I wouldn't worry, About that last rule, Dear Sister. We're going to have, So...much...fun. Mark My Words
Well done, Sir Jhera! We couldn't have said it better Ourself. - - Auto Merge - - So much talk, All sound and fury, signifying nothing. Pay no attention, To young Quilliam, He is inconsequential.
I have an odd idea. What I want to do is have Mary Sue criticise some of the character's that have turned up by spilling some dirt on them. The most likely candidates for this mudslinging with their own pasts are Rashall and Pickpear as the others aren't likely to have done anything Mary would have heard about. You know, the big hero types things. The thing is, I'm not sure what. I tried to see if it could be done with RP to RP continuity but that got awkward when it fell to Rashal. Because I know he took part in LOCP, making slanderous comments at the expense of his history with those events makes things more complex as it would mean that the whole of Snow's interpretation of Equestria was in effect too. I tried working it out and it got long. I gave up. So, can you point me in the right direction to help?
While Pickpear hasn't really done anything that she would've been accredited to. She may have been in the area of a few big deeds, but nothing there's a solid link on.
Actually, let me correct myself. She did recover a number of old artifacts at a dig site (near Gallopmere if you believe in such places.) About half of them went to the Canterlot museum, and the other half vanished.
That's it! One of the main rules that Quill pointed out for us was that we give Everypony a chance to post. He himself hasn't posted in multiple pages, and you guys are running with it. HE'S THE GM! It's not freeform!
Thank you, Eight Star. I don't mind if the characters talk amongst themselves, but, please, if you're going to be performing any abilities (Intrude's Mind Blanking comes to mind), please give me time to roll to see if it succeeds. This kind of roleplaying may be new and strange to some of you, and that's okay. Eight Star and I will be happy to assist.
>Rick Rolls an entire stadium full of people >Comes back to this Uhh...I'll let you guys handle things
... I prefer Eight Star and Quills roleplays because it is often NOT just two or three ponies swarming the roleplay... I went to sleep and it appears that happened. Anyone mind filling in? And Eluuna, please try to post less... Rapidly and freeform...
I believe the mind thing was more my fault for going ahead with it. Sorry, I forgot about the dice rolls.
