Echo has a custom title. He's not staff.

 

He had a special arrangement with Foxy I believe.

There's no set way. The most reliable thing to do is be a very loyal senior member. And by that I dont mean post count. I mean being here for a long time and making friends with everyone lol

 

Pretty much what i've done. The post count is nice.But meaningless.

You haven't been here quite as long as Echo (but you have been here for a while lol) I guess keep at it. The best thing to do is not just go asking for one. If you beg for things, you're not going to get them. Thats just a protip for life too lol

Okay, here goes:

I'm walking with my friend Kaylee, and she stops to talk with a friend of hers. I let them talk for a bit, and I give some input (the friend has a roommate that is bothering her, apparently she's very mean and is making her move out). I give the friend my sympathies for her situation, and as we turn to walk away, some impulse calls to me. I turn back and ask, "What's your name?" She stops and turns around like she's surprised, and she says "Shelley. What's yours?" I answer, "David. It was nice meeting you, Shelley." and I turn around and walk away.

Twenty minutes later, Shelley sends a text message to Kaylee.

Kaylee: "Hey, remember Shelley?"
Me: "Yeah?"
Kaylee: "She got in another fight with her roommate."
Me: "That's terrible! Maybe we should invite her to hang out with us so she can take her mind off of things. Maybe we could talk to her."
Kaylee: "... Also, she thinks you're cute."
Me: "Well. Maybe I should talk to her."

So, that was last Thursday. On Friday, Kaylee, Shelley and myself attended lunch in the same dining hall and talked. Shelley and I even talked after Kaylee left, about art and literature and standards and free-thinking and all sorts of things. Over the weekend, Shelley went home, and we messaged each other periodically. Earlier tonight, I told her I thought she was sweet. We made a date to get ice cream on Tuesday.

 

That and your avatar flippin moves! That had to contribute towards custom titling at least a little bit!
