Why don't we just use Math to prove this equation? Given that if A and B are both true at the same time or both false at the same time, A => B (A implies B.) But from that we can also derive that ~B => ~A (Not B implies not A). This means that if Not A and Not B both true at the same time or both false at the same time, A implies B. Given that furries and bronies have worn fur suits, Assuming the equation of ~B => ~A Bronies not wearing fur suits are equivelant to furries not wearing fur suits, Since they are both people not wearing fur suits. (You canbnot argue that that are different since one is a furry the other a brony, Because we are defining bronies and furries in terms of fur suits, And a definition cannot contain or reference the term it defines). Thus Bronies not wearing fur suits are equivalent to furies not wearing fur suits. Since both are true, ~Bronies implies ~Furries. Furries => Bronies.
Furries<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Bronies Furries tend to weird me out. And it takes A LOT to do so. I have no idea who is under that suit which makes me very uncomfortable. Bronies rarely, if ever, make me uncomfortable. The pony suits are a symbol for the fandom. The regular fursuits are for their own personal pleasure, whatever that may be (I know for a fact that many do it for sexual means, far more than bronies have) You guys can state it however you want, but that fact will still stand. I refuse to be compared to furries who are constantly self-centered and self-serving and care only loosely about their own community. Also, saying that anyone is a furry because they where a fursuit is ridiculous because: From urban dictionary. Nothing about fursuits. Therefore, the pony fursuit wearers will typically be your average fans of the show. Not this "furry" label you guys wish to force on everyone and wish every brony was called. Nope. I'm mathematically inclined but no math works here. Nothing adds up about this theory and label you guys are trying to force on the people here. I will not hear of it.
That's just called one of: Stubborn Ignorant Silly Irrational In denial My equation could just as easily be Not Bronies and Not Furries aren't fans of anthropomorphic animals.
Labels. They come on baked beans. Why? Because they are useful. Because you want to know what you're getting into.
Dude, I am the most open minded person you will ever know. I have studied this subject intensively as I do with virtually anything I'm unknowing about. Therefore I am anything but ignorant. I do not wish to be seen as a self-centered jerk so I do not wish to be considered a furry. And I think the people of EP can agree to that. I want to see this fandom continue to develop as a loving community. Ideas like this prohibit the bonding and growth of the community at large because they offer the exact opposite. It's become clear that Echo made this thread to stir people up and I fell for the bait. Good day, gentlemen.
Look, i've already given you all an Accurate Definition with real source material. But if you choose to ignore it. Look it up yourself, we live in the information age where one look in the CORRECT place (Not Urban Dictionary, that's FAR worse than Wikipedia) Can find you CORRECT information... And not going by what you think the term is.... Which is most likely the media driven definition....
Really? That's really intolerant of pixel's (, and any one else that shares this opinion's) opinion on the matter.
No one did. In fact you said the contrary. Just now. Because that is a thing you did. In any case, It's the internet. 0 is the number of ****s given.
Missed this! Social Labels are most certainly not useful. Who cares if you are gay? Who cares if you're a dude? Who cares if you're black? Who care if you are Christian? Who cares if you label yourself as a brony? Labels are incredibly stupid ways to start stereotypes. Remember Hitler's "Aryan" race? That made anyone labeled jew, gay, or black a public enemy. Labels. They are what the Nazis used for social cleansing.
It's been said before, but the reason we like the show is not because the ponies are human-like or because they are animals. We like it because it's a quality show (huge generalisations there). So for that reason, I don't think that we're furries. Unless you're a brony because of the first two reasons.
You should. It's why our american society is essentially sick because we have to resort to so many stereotypes. We can't ever see people for who the truly are. Bronies are not bad people. Certain furries are not either. It's the labels that blind me though.
I really doubt that just because it's your opinion It is an undeniable fact. That's just called self-righteousness. Anyway, Given you ask ANY former furry, The odds of that being true are equal to 1/(Number asked/2). - - Auto Merge - - I'm not American.
