Hey ya'll, I'm Dekanogi'a, which means sing in Cherokee.

I'm 23 and live in WI with my fiancee and 3 cats. Tank is 17, Jazz is now 3 1/2, Chromia is now 2 1/2. I grew up mostly on farms... first farm had cattle cats and dogs... the second farm had goats, horses, dogs, cats, and at one small time... chickens.
My family still has Laredo, a rose grey QH, Jade, a sorrel Arabian, and Princess, the bay paint pony. Larry's dam, Dynasty was once my partner for drill team, we were one heck of a team... she never missed a show, even after an injury until she passed away... she was 32 yrs old!

Anyways, I LOVE MLP and drive my fiancee nuts with it. :)

8 cats? in or out of the house? I lived with 8 people at 1 point, with 6 cats and 2 dogs... wasn't pretty. Our 3 cats... 1 huge black demon, 1 small tigered mischievous witch and a old cranky kitty...
Farms are great places to grow up, they make you appreciate hard work.

Thank ya'll for the welcomes, I love it here already :)

You know, this is getting ridiculous. I kind of want to send you some of our old pictures now to show I'm not exaggerating at all. I lived with 8 people growning up including myself. I have 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and my parents. We had 2 dogs at a time all the time. We would always have a black lab for a femaile and I don't remember what the boy was, but it was fluffy and blonde. We also had so many cats. They were never really allowed in the house because my dad doesn't like them. Our michievous cat was also a tiger-looking one. It had the stripes and whatnot, but it was white, silver, and black. We also had a calico kitten but I don't remember what happened to her. Most of the cats would come and go as they please. I still remember a lot of their names too. We had Apollo, Athena, Sox, Iris, Snowball, Shadow, and some others I can't think of at the moment.

Ok, wow. Feel free to send, don't mind one bit. This house would have been the summer of 2010 to spring of 2011 and was a big mistake.
Jazz the black monster, Chromia the Tigered mischievous brat... Sassy the tuxedo'd uber*witch*, Opposum the odd callico seal sounding cat, Skunk the grey and white long haired beauty, Tootsi the small tiger-ed grey playful one...
Max the Australian Shep puppy aka Large Pizza thief, Pepe the little mix puppy, aka pees a lot. Only Jazz and Chrome were mine... the rest were my roommates, we had 6-8 living there at all times... from the pot smoker to the guitar guy playing after 11pm to the womanizer to the witch to the no alcohal to snob to fun guy to me who locked themselves up in room or wasn't home.

When we were on the farm we had many cats come and go, saw many die and burried many... In that house we had 6... we had to build rooms above the garage where a ghost likes to stay. (Serious about the ghost part) Dad married my step-mom who I knew my whole life and my friends became my brothers... although the one and I kinda dated years before... and he wanted to restart not long ago. We had Frank the loving mama, Miranda was our horse's BFF as was Wane... Trip the tripster and so forth. Those 3 are dead, along with all the ones I knew but Shantel, Mom's persian tiger cat. Mom has more cats now, upstairs safe from the dogs.
Jen, the old Daschund, Belle - Jack Russle/Pomeranian (Looks terrier). Belle's son Sorren who's sire was Lab, Andi - mutt that looks hound and bay's... she's a rescued stray. They recently lost Prince, English setter/lab.

was late 10 or early 12. Chromia has broken up stripes but they are there. She has the cutest tiger like paws. Jazz now filled out... she's still puny.

We had a room for a ghost in our house, but we didn't make it. It was like that when we moved in. When you walk upstairs there's a bedroom to the left and the right, and right above the stairs/front door is a mini room between the 2 bedrooms with a copper chair in it with a few small misc. items. The room was blocked off from the wall on both sides, but it had a window. The only way to see inside was to go out the window of one of the other rooms and get on the roof of the front porch to look in the window. I lived there for 12 years or so and have only looked in that room twice.

Ok, so weird, my brother lived in a house for over a year, it was a renters house in P-ville, most renters are college kids from UW-P.
In his room the made a closet of the hallway or doorway to this other room, the wall borded up, owner said if anyone tried to get back there they would be kicked out instantly... there was a window, we HAD planned on getting a ladder to look in but never did after he moved to Dubuque. People who lived there felt spirits. My brother is a magnet, he's seen the black demons with red eyes, ghosts, heard them... everything.

The garage were we built the rooms upstairs, before Mom bought the farm, a man was killed... downstairs machinery fell on him. I've seen Bob when I was with Laredo, Larry nickered to him. Bob appeared to be checking the fence line then disappeared. I said something about seeing a ghost, the person was described to me, I nodded yes seeing as they described him to a T... they're like oh, that's Bob. And I thought my brother was joking with me when we were kids about the ghost! If you go to my parents farm and are one of the susceptible to the spirits and ghosts you may find yourself surprised. ;)
The house I live in has a ghost... surprisingly his name is Bob also. Dreams of a guy you don't know, then find photos a week later of that event, knocking on the door, even as you watch it, orbs, shadows, noises, the bed springs being pushed down, cold spots, cats watching cold areas.... and we try to debunk these things. At times Dave will feel/see/hear things I don't and vice verse

It's kind of strange talking about ghosts. I'm usually not the type to believe in such things, but I definitely do to an extent. The ghost we know well goes by the name Frank. We first noticed in our last house when my brother, my mom, and me were out in the living room and dining area and one of the doors slammed shut. There was no draft, no animals, or anything that could have closed a door that hard. He was gone once we left, but he seems to have taken a liking to my brother and stays at his apartment. As for me, the most recent event would be on my birthday this year. It was the common "something touched my shoulder" deal. I know I felt a hand touch my shoulder. It wasn't subtle at all. I also keep my fan on a lot in my room and sometimes I can feel the air from it change and get warmer for a brief moment. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I assume the warm feeling I get is my brother who had died 17 years ago. I haven't gotten chills since I lived in the farm house I mentioned earlier. I never really felt a demon presence. Everything I feel relating to the ghost category is warm and I like it.

Ghost's aren't all bad, some are. Slamming doors is a very possible ghost sign, especially if you debunked any other possible things. Ghosts can also move to new places if they attach themselves to someone. I haven't always gotten the icy feeling from ghosts, but have been touched by unseen forces. IDK its possible it was a ghost, even if it was a warm touch/area. I know Tim, who was like a 2nd father and died on my parents farm is still there, I felt him when I locked myself in my closet to cry when my aunt died, also felt a comforting feeling when other bad things happened.

I hate the dark presences... there are some on that farm, the lower section of the large barn causes me to freak out, get sick to my stomach, more skittish than normal and so forth. The garage will have a major sad feeling, or for my older brother, horrible demon stuff.

Hope you keep feeling the warm presences!

My grandpa haunts my grandmas house.Which is where i live.

A few years ago i went out in the garage and heard a male voice say "Hello!"I slammed the door and ran off.NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THE GARAGE AND IT WAS CLOSED!

He's usually quiet. i think he stays in the attic where nobody wants to go.

    Welcome to Everypony!

I am Eight Star, resident sorcerer, evil genius, and aged adviser.

    Pleased to meet you.

Mmmf, I'd go on about horses with you, but sadly mine passed away last month. Broke my heart so much I disappeared from here for a while.

Though I do have a giant grey cat, and a big orange fluffy one. Both incredibly vocal... and my fiance has two chinchillas.

Oh, I really am so sorry for your loss. I can relate with losing a horse/partner... and Dyn wasn't even my horse. I honestly still tear up, even cry, thinking about her. I miss my families horses... I live in a town about 30-35 miles away and haven't had the gas to go see them... didn't have a job. Now I am getting hired back to my fav job and will have gas... of course in the fall and winter :p
Ooo always loved grey cats, ever since Harley, the fluffy grey tabby I rescued. He then rescued 2 orange tabby's when the mother cat who fed him passed away. Odd coincidence!

Jazz, my Black cat, and Dave's grey cat Tank are highly vocal.... Jazz keeps us up at night... Tanky finally told him to shut up and Jazz listened.
Jazz will gripe at me if he doesn't approve of something, chirp at birds and have convo's with Tank. Tank is 17 so he complains of old age and holds convos with people... its cute to annoying.

Mom had a chinchilla... we aren't sure if the rabbit food someone got on accident killed her or a combo with her very old age. she was so fluffy.

Ok, things in common with quite a few ppl here to odd coincidences. :)

I love the vibe here, so different from my anti-peta forum I go to most of the time... ya'll have me hooked :D

Depends on the type of rabbit food. Chins can live to be about 25 or so with proper care.

Ok, then I think it was the rabbit food... add in loads of stress since we had brought in the outdoor cats due to harsh conditions... I knew little about her, was new to that part of the family, lol.
