11:39 PM here. I might go to bed soon. Since classes have resumed, I haven't been able to stay up as late as I used to when ponsomnia was in effect.
Good morning, Muesli! I've just read a fan fiction, and my God, I thought it was brilliant. It was only a flash fiction, but it was really interesting and well written, and the concept was really good. It was called 'The Cough'. A warning to anyone curious, it is oh so grimdark. It is very grimdark. It's harshly depressing and emotional, but it is good. Also, don't read it if you really like Fluttershy. Seriously.
I read that one too! It would have made Edgar Allen Poe proud! That was so chilling! EDIT: I don't want to double post, but I don't want to wait until tomorrow either....... Spoiler: comic I found
I'm Zephyr and I wind off....huh? Anyway, thanks for the warning on that fic Lup, that Fluttershy part would more than likely bother me...
Zephyr, have you read anything with Fluttershy in it and it's a sad fic? I was just wonder ing if you have before you found the mare of your dreams. Hmm.......
I read two that were sad, but they were similar. One was about Twilight visiting Ponyville 60 years after becoming immortal. The Fluttershy story made me a miserable wreck. The other described Fluttershy during her final moments, but her spirit was able to live amongst the animals and trees....it was quite sad.... I haven't read anything grimdark about her and I refuse to do so....I'm just a teeny bit biased...
That sounds really sad, I must admit. The only one that made me feel sad was a new story. No, it's not about Fluttershy. It's a Pinkamina Diane Pie one. It's actually quite well written
I've just been searching for some work of two of my favourite graffiti artists, Dusty and Lizzie, and I just can't find any. Google images brings up about 2 little thumbnails, nothing more. Those 2 were around when graffiti was first finding its feet, they were the king and queen of the New York subways. I'm starting to feel like urban art is is a dying art, to be honest. I mean there's Banksy, but not much else. Maybe I'm just overreacting though. Or maybe I'm just ranting about graffiti on a pony forum like a moron. To make it more pony related, I really was thinking of getting back into the whole tagging thing myself recently. I've seen a few spots around Cardiff where I'd love to plant a big fat 'FOR THE LUNAR REPUBLIC's or maybe a few 'OBEY' posters. I've got a few sketches that could look good thrown up, inlcuding a few Rainbow Dash ones. It's funny because nobody would get the reference. Darling, why does it say 'Eeyup' on that billboard? Britain is so grey and bleak, some pony tags would be an interesting contrast.
I didn't know you were an urban artist!(is that the term?) If you think Britain is too bleak, it's your right to add a bit of pony to it!
It's been a while, but yeah, I'm heavily into that sort of thing. Real art now, not just scribbling my name on stuff or gang wars, that's not so much art as vandalism. I don't even have my paints anymore, cripes. I'm going to have to stock up on my pinks, yellows, rainbow colours... etc...
So I decided to take a video on my iPod on the hurricane in my area. I found out I could post it on YouTube. Now, please keep in mind that I'm a computer idiot, so the quality is crap, the sound is crap, the video is crap, but I posted it anyway. This is in my backyard (yes, it's small) and I've been outside enjoying the wind, so here ya go....I'm sorry it's so crap...it may not even work... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNTWVd5bJ94
So is everything okay? Is it passing alright? Sorry, the whole thing is weighing on me and I worry for a fellow brony.
Yeah, I think this is the worst it'll get. The power isn't out, nothing is flying through the air, and there is no chance of flooding in my area. Everything should be smooth windsailin'!
