My story starts back when I first joined Gaia Online back when I was 13. I think it was the end of its first year. I joined with the name Densetsu_no_Ryu_no_Yami, meaning "legendary dragon of darkness." A couple years later I got into a relationship with another user that had a fixation with wolves and had "ookami" in her name. Having grown tired of my cumbersome username and being infatuated at the time, I changed my username to my now iconic "yamiookami," where that remains my username to this day. We broke up after several months, but I had grown very fond of the name, and still use it everywhere. Also help that I've grown fond of wolves as well. :3
Actually, my current name is based on an amazing coincidence. One of my older internet nicknames, long before the MLP fandom, was Rarite. (pronounced Ra-right) Rarit E is simply a ponified pun of that name. How i came up with that older name? Don't ask, because honestly i don't remember. XD
That is so cool. My username comes from the fact that I naturally avoid people, and that I am a Brony. It's more of a reflection of how I see myself.
I am Rex because Rex is awesome. I thought of the name when trying to think of a good dragon name The hyuga part is just the surname of my favourite video game character
My name starts with B and I was born in 1996. I have no idea how the dog bit came about. I've never even had a dog in my life.
Quill Inkwell is the name of my OC. He fits the normal naming convention for ponies: His name is three syllables and it follows the "noun-noun" syntax and fits his occupation/Cutie Mark. My Steam name (eclipse404) is based on an OC I used to have when I wrote Sailor Moon fanfics (please, don't ask...) The 404 is based on Error 404, which used to mean "File Not Found" (I think it means "Forbidden" now.) My normal/general purpose screen name (Karl Kadaver) is my online gaming name. I like alliterative names, and I spend more time dead than alive. It's catchy and easy to remember.
My mane OC, my first OC and my ponysona is called Dark Shine. I didn't realize that the site allowed spaces in Usernames and my keyboard bugged out on shift so I only got one Capital Letter. So mostly just by mistake XD
Just my pony OC, nothing more. Although this is the first time I've varied on a username in a few years.
*cracks hooves* It all began at the start of high school, at this point I was unsociable, afraid to take any risks. So I just sat indoors, and I created. Mostly poetry, honing my imagination, sitting there and thinking how wondrous it was to have the pure ability to create something that required nothing more than the knowledge of words. But then I soon came to realise towards my second to last year at school, who likes poetry? Nobody appreciates it, a talent wasted away in a time when I could have been doing something else. But it felt so good to do at the time. As a result, I fell into a large depressive slump, had counselling, enjoyed nothing in life, stopped gaming as a result even though I was a prime player (for which a lot of people can account me for). My tools of the trade felt, useless. .....Until the May of 2011...where I stumbled upon something uplifting, something that wasn't depressing, something that offered a glimmer of hope in a world that seemed full of ignorance, racism, and shunning, a TV show, which eventually led me to find a fandom two weeks later, the likes of which I'd never seen before. For months I hung around, getting interested, then ducking out, then interested again. I became more sociable, starting taking uplifting morals on board, became like the calmer version of Pinkie Pie mixed with Rarity that I am today. Until I decided to make a Youtube account at long last, and the name would be a testimony to what I have suffered through, and then what I gained, and continued to gain, discovering a forum some months later, revolutionising the way I'd lived my life before by meeting total strangers in a new place. And that name, was ThePoeticPony
My username is the combination of my three favorite shows dbzponyninja is the combination of Dragon Ball Z, Naruto Shippuden and of course My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
I honestly don't know where "Stella" came from. I don't know anyone IRL whose name is Stella, and it had no meaning to me really. I guess everyone was naming themselves after characters of the show, and I didn't want that. As for the "ItsMe" part, I wasn't sure how long I should make my username, and that kinda popped into my head. (Sorry, I don't have a fancy story like all these other ponies :3)
I was lying on my bed thinking of a OC, then I picked the best fitting colors and elements. Fire and Lightning. So I was like "What is lightning and fire." Blazing fast, and bright as dawn. Also, I like to think of my left arm being fire, and my right being lightning. It also complements my idea of multiple personalities = multiple OCs
But I have 15 OC's, and I'm pretty sure I don't have multiple personality. Maybe a random one that changes from day to day, but not multiple. Anyways, thus far this has been pretty interesting.
I'm afraid that there's not much of a story behind my username, but anyway, Bot-chan is just the name of a character I created many, many years ago and he has since become a kind of mascot of sorts. So yeah. No relation to the show or anything like that. Hmm.
Well. I like Rome. I like it about as much as I like ponies. So I figured, if I am going to go onto a pony forum, I might as well have a name that is original, hmm? Everypony will be calling themselves variations of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash and the rest of the show's characters. (No offense to those people, they are no less for it. I'm just that hipster (not really).) My standard name up until that point had been thecaesar. "thecaesarpony"? Nnnnnnno. "thecaesarbrony"? Uh-uh. Hmmm...what is another word that relates to Rome? Of course! Their famously named military unit, the Legion! And then "brony" was just added on. It's much easier to just call me legion, though. (Oh yes, and I insist that it is uncapitalized unless at the beginning of a sentence. I don't know why, because usually I am a punctuation nazi, and Proper nouns should be capitalized. -shrug-)
Well back in the day. I was a big RE4 fan and used the username of Leons55. Obviously based on RE4's main character's name. As time went by it changed from leons55 to leonsk555, then LSK, etc. Testing different variations. Untill finally I saw that the name was too fanboyish. After playing fire emblem the sacred stones, I came across of a character's name wich was Lyon. Then it hit me, replace leon with lyon. As for "s" and "k", swapped them. Thus resulting: LyonKS555. The numbers are just to filter the name plus its my favorite number. Here and from now on, I've used Lyon as character names. Name of my OC, name in games, etc.
