>Tells a girl true feelings >Waits like 25 hours for a reply >Finally gets one >Ahh. I hate when this happens. But Jay, like I don't see you that way. You're a really nice and smart guy, but I just see you as a good friend. I'm sorry. But thanks for being honest, takes a lot of courage to say what you feel >
Aww... that happened? I'm so sorry. I know the feeling. It is terribly unpleasant, but will pass given enough time.
It'll be alright, dude. At least she's okay with it. That's definitely not the worst response you could have gotten. It'll get better.
*hug* Dont worry dude. As the others said before, let some time pass. Its hard for you now, but it will get better. Just believe there is someone for you somewhere. I believe in this.
That's the best way it could have ended if she didn't feel the same. The worst she could have done was lead you on. I'm sure it sucks for her too
Not to toot my own horn, but I've turned down two girls. One of which was my friend, the other was not. Both were absolutely dreadful to do. Only a sociopath takes pleasure in giving others misfortune such as that.
Don't just think about yourself, if you just feel sorry for yourself and act like the girl you confessed to has hurt you and treat her like she has done something wrong, she'll feel awful and may not want to continue being friends. Just meet her with a smile and try to understand. If you continue being her friend and if you cease putting pressure on the situation she'll admire and thank you for that. You have more to gain from continuing to be her friend. Don't throw it all away because of your own feelings.
My advice? Don't think about what could happen, don't think about what can happen, just go with the flow, and be yourself. That way, you're not intimidated by any unwanted possibilities. Another tip, take it slow, but steady. Someone beat me to the last girl I set my eyes on, and it did sting, but you move on. All in all, dude, don't fret, it's not a big deal right now. Being a single pringle is just as cool.
Don't worry about it too much. You win some, you lose some. You're still young and you have the rest of your life to find someone.
